110 days later… we’re back putting one foot in front of the other.

With 2025 wrapped up, it’s time to forget all about it and begin building up on preparation for the 2026 season.

Fitness soon come🤞 by @evan_w_g

last year as a u17 completed✅

A promising indoor campaign led to high expectations of outdoors this year being then best yet - which didn’t happen.
Although times were no where near what I was hoping for i’m happy with how I preformed in championship races.

To call this season mid a lot was still achieved and a lot more was learnt;

-3k Indoor british record 🇬🇧
-1500m Indoor british record 🇬🇧
-800m indoor English record + 2nd AT 🇬🇧
-National u17 indoor 800m champ 🥇
-English schools 1500m champ🥇
-SIAB international 1500m champ🥇
-2nd @ British u20 1500m champs🥈
-National u20 1500m champ🥇
-3rd All-Time u17 800m 🇬🇧
-5th All-Time u17 1500m 🇬🇧
-5th u18 800m + 6th u18 1500m🇪🇺🇪🇺
-8th u18 800m + 16th u18 1500m globally
-1:49.08 800m + 3:46.28 1500m

Huge thanks to @adidasuk, Paul Daly and everyone else who supported me through one of the most challenging years yet

Not the start to the 2025 season I wanted but a start nonetheless.

After getting into the best shape of my life mid april I picked up bad shin splints leaving me barely able to put pressure on my left foot. And to ensure it didn’t become a chronic issue I took the adequate time needed to recover ensuring the problem to go away - which it did.

Missing crucial training pre season as well as a lot of time spend with GCSE exams using a lot of energy left my first 2 races significantly off where i should be.

Couple of days off for half term and feeling much more energised the third race of the season came around in which the performance was much better running nearly 3s quicker than my opener just 10 days prior.

It’s a long season ahead and i’m happy to be injury free aswell as not far off pb shape; going to get a few solid weeks of training banked until GCSEs end before ripping some fast 8 and 15s.

Till Then.👋 by @evan_w_g
