06/19/2025. I never thought goodbye would come so soon. Dad, thank you for being my best friend and role model with the time we shared together. It still doesn’t feel real. You taught me everything I know from your humor, empathy, and positivity— to Eagles plays and the greatest Karaoke songs, but we still had so many plans together and you had so much left to teach me. You left a mark on every person you met and were such a light in mine and many others lives. Your selflessness, friendship with many, and perseverance inspire all. I will never understand why God takes the best people so soon, but I know you are watching over us in Heaven and you are so proud. Thank you for being the best husband to mom and the best father to me and Noah, you taught me what real unconditional love means. It pains me to know that we will never have another father daughter trip to philly where you tell me about every childhood memory while listening to old 60’s love songs. I will forever remember all the lessons you taught me and hold every memory close to my heart. You had so much more life to live but I know you are at peace now. I promise to stay strong and make you proud. There is nothing else I want more than to give you a hug or see your smile one more time. It will never be fair. Hold your family close and tell them you love them. I will still always be a daddy’s girl, I love you forever Dad. You were truly one of a kind. by @evangeline.benedict
