Six months ago today, the abandoned Mama Cat that we found and took in - gave birth to five of the sweetest little chicken nuggets I’ve ever seen in my life: Binx, Garfie, Neko, Oatie, and Tig. I slept on the floor beside the nest, for WEEKS!

Today, they’re all so big, mature, and safe. Tig was adopted by @liss0850 and Oatie and Neko were adopted by @evangerules and I’m so proud of them all! Such big kitties now, I can’t STAND it! The best girl in the entire world crossed the rainbow bridge today with her mommy and daddy by her side. This strong girl battled lymphoma for 5 years and her little body finally had enough. Lulu bear is my soul cat and I’m so so sad she’s gone. But I guess the sadness is the price you pay for having 15 years of the funniest, smartest, hungriest, boldest, sassy pants, baby by your side. From NYC to La to Long Beach to Nashville she’s been my best friend through it all. We are devastated to say the least but we know she’s going to join Littleman, Peanut and Skinners now. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @evangerules

This just can’t be real. I’m devastated. I’ve known Dave since 2002. His band, Count the Stars sent me their demo and I thought it was good so I sent it to Victory Records. I didn’t even think about it again. Months later out of the blue. I got a call from Dave. He told me that they signed to Victory Records and since I was the one that helped him, he asked me if I would be their band‘s agent. I was a young booking agent at the time, and his band was buzzing. Of course I said yes. But that was the kind of guy Dave was. He wouldn’t forget a favor. I have so many stories of Dave and @etobinetobin from when we were all young in our early 20s figuring out this business. When Dave started his booking agency well before he went to the corporate agencies, he would call me every day to talk about booking. I gave him my entire Rolodex that I had developed over the years to help him have contacts. He started his agency and then went to the moon with success. I lost touch with Dave a little bit here and there, because he was so busy but I always had the ability to ask to go skydiving whenever and it didn’t matter how much time passed. We started working on a band together just last year and it was so great. We all just celebrated an amazing night in New York at Madison Square Garden. I can’t believe this happened. I will miss you my sweet dear old friend. I hope you know how much you’re loved. by @evangerules

My friend Rich was someone I met in my early 20’s. I was a young agent and he promoted hardcore shows in nyc. I would travel to NYC from Philly to see these shows and be met with the friendliest, coolest, most awesome human anyone could know. He always took care of artists and is responsible for the success of many hardcore bands coming out of the tri-state area. Aside from shows Rich was a friend. Once I moved to NYC our group of friends would always hang out and I have many fun memories with Rich. My photos of myself and Rich are on my MySpace so I can’t access anything good but that tells you how far back we go. A few years back Rich painted portraits of my cats for me. I am so sad to hear he is gone and my heart goes out to his lovely wife and child who he left behind suddenly. Happy Anniversary to my best friend.
