• Founded in 1964, Yamaguchi Keori features all the characteristics of the small-scale Bishu weaving operations that have survived the decades of shifting landscapes in Japan’s textile industry. Mr. Yamaguchi was 20 years old when he started the business, and primarily worked alone with less than a dozen looms, until his son joined him 30 years ago. Tucked away on the quiet steps of the historic Montmartre neighborhood, Les Natures Mortes is a home, gallery and architecture studio created by Adrien Jacquet. A unique selection of antiques, art, furniture and objects are presented within a beautifully renovated house built in the mid-1800s.
