Two years ago I was at my lowest. I had been in and out of jobs, went through a rough breakup. I was hospitalized due to my mental health and depression worsening. Losing so many of my good friends due to my anger issues took a big toll on me. For 10 years I’ve held a grudge against a former teacher in the 9th and 10th grade because she was condescending and it was the cause of my piss poor attitude. Here I am 4 years later living in the Appalachian Mountains in WNC. I’m living my best life, finding new friends, meeting more girls, and I kicked hurricane Helene’s ass. I’m no longer self harming or trying to end my life because there’s so much in life than just losing a lot of friends. Here I am I’m nearly 30 years old and I am starting to realize that some friends are not meant to stay.
