On October 31st Jacqueline Pompei left us.
She was the love of my life and I will never meet another like her.
She was the most talented person I have ever known, an excellent baker, chef, artist, poet, organizer and friend.
She was the example of how to be in life, smart, strong, kind, generous, honest and she knew how to have fun.
She was driven, anything she set her mind to she would achieve. She traveled the world and she never stopped learning, anything that could enrich her life she would seek out and she would want you to enjoy her journey with her.
She cared for her communities and supported her friends in their endeavors, she was the kind of person you wanted backing you up.
In some way I feel it is fitting this is when Jackie left us. She loved October, it was her birth month and she loved to celebrate Halloween. She liked things to be in order and I think she would have found some satisfaction going in the month she had arrived.
I cannot put into words how much she meant to me and those around her but I am thankful she let us all into her life.
She was my best friend, my dolly, my goofball, my beach gremlin.
