Missed SpelHouse and Howard Homecoming, but I still got my HBCU love at Clark Atlanta’s Homecoming! ❤️💛 Ran into all my CAU favorites, and it felt so good to be back! While at Spelman, I took engineering and science classes at CAU, so this one was extra special. 🐾

It felt SO good to be back in Atlanta for the National Bar Association’s Wiley A. Branton Issues Symposium and Conference! ❤️🖤

We kicked things off at King’s Chapel with an important panel discussion on the power of voting, election protection, and the importance of serving as poll workers. I was honored to be a panelist and inspired by how engaged and motivated the SpelHouse were. 🩵 But the BEST part? Hearing that Spelmanites took the next step and STARTED poll worker training! 💙💛🙌🏾 Now THAT is what turning inspiration into ACTION looks like!

I enjoyed the CLEs, reconnecting with colleagues and friends, and, of course, the receptions! ❤️ We shared plenty of laughs, made more NBA memories, and celebrated the fellowship that makes the National Bar so special.

But beyond the fun, fellowship, and memories, we left with a CHARGE: SPREAD THE WORD TO VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT! 🗳️🔥

✅ Be counted.
✅ Make a plan to vote.
✅ Call 25 people and make sure they vote.
✅ Get involved in protecting our elections.

One of the first decisions inventors face is whether to file a provisional or nonprovisional patent application.

A provisional application is often a lower-cost option that establishes an early filing date and allows inventors to use the term “patent pending.” However, it is never examined and expires after 12 months unless a nonprovisional application is filed.

A nonprovisional application is the formal application that the USPTO examines. It can ultimately mature into an issued patent if approved.

Inventors who are still refining their invention or seeking funding may benefit from a provisional application, while those ready to pursue patent protection may choose to file a nonprovisional application directly.

Profit Pillars was absolutely fabulous! ✨ From Panama to Zumba, inspiring panels, and most of all, the incredible sense of community—it was an unforgettable experience.

🇵🇦 Profit Pillars in Panama! What a wonderful experience hosted by Jayden Doye!

My first time in Panama — and what a way to experience it! ☀️ Delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and an incredible community of lawyers eager to enhance and grow their practices.
