It was very exciting to see the announcement label for my show on the outside of the Boca Raton Museum of Art! Yes it was pouring and the airport was flooded, but it did not dampen my spirit, enthusiasm or gratitude for this exhibition: my first solo museum show with both my paintings and ceramics together in close conversation, thanks to the fabulous @goncharov.kathy Thank you also to @theregastrar and @hanaglam for all your kind assistance! And so much love and gratitude to great pals @robran2 and @bspaceimages for making the trip down and for all your support! ❤️🙏🏻#bocamuseum #eatingsunshine #julieevans #contemporaryceramics #ceramics #contemporarypainting taken in Boca Raton Museum of Art by @evansjuli

Welcome Julie Evans to Wild Space Gallery!

Evans is a multi-media artist based in New York, and currently living in the Hudson River Valley. Evans connection to the natural world arises from her fascination with its perfection. Her work calls attention to nature’s remarkable intelligence and its complexities, power, and logic. Evans creates from the wisdom of what she calls her “inner eye.” This inward vision, offers another way of seeing when visual acuity alone cannot tell the whole story.

Join Wild Space Gallery on October 10th for the opening reception for The Unseen Landscape: Julie Evans, Karl Kelly, Eric Wolf, and Artist Conversation with Julie Evans, Karl Kelly, and Eric Wolf.

🗓️Opening Reception October 10, 5-9pm
🖌️Artist conversation 6-7pm

Wild Space Gallery is located at 2606 Fairfield Ave S Bldg 7C, St. Petersburg, FL 33712.
