🇵🇱 It is official!

One of the rooms in the European Parliament in Strasbourg has successfully been named after Jan III Sobieski, the Polish King who saved Christian Europe from an Islamic invasion at the Battle of Vienna in 1683.

The initiative is called "Stop Islamization" by the Polish MEP Patryk Jaki.

The naming ceremony was attended by the famous Winged Hussars.

However, this was only possible because it didn't require a vote by all members in the Parliament.

We all know that if a vote had been necessary, the left-wing and socialist parties would have blocked the decision to celebrate Europe's proud Christian history. by @evdaimonos

✝️❤️‍🔥 Did you know that this week Christians celebrate four victories over Islamic invaders?

The days between September 7th and September 12th contain four anniversaries of battles where Christian armies defeated outnumbering Muslim armies.

On September 7th, 1191, King Richard the Lionheart and his 11,000-strong crusader army crushed Sultan Saladin's 25,000-man army.

The Christians lost just 700 men while eliminating 7000 Muslim enemies.

On September 8th, 1565, 48,000 Ottoman jihadists invaded the Christian island of Malta, defended by just 600 Knights Hospitaller joined by a few thousand common soldiers and citizens.

Despite being outnumbered, Christian warriors inflicted massive casualties upon the Muslim invaders, forcing their retreat to stop westward Mediterranean expansion.

On September 12th, 1683, the Polish King Jan Sobieski III led a Christian coalition, including the famous winged hussars, who crushed Ottoman forces at the Battle of Vienna.

This victory saved Christian Europe, stopping Ottoman invasions forever.

On September 11, 1697, Austrian Prince Eugene of Savoy caught the Ottoman army by surprise, delivering one of the most catastrophic defeats in Ottoman history.

The battle resulted in 30,000 Ottoman casualties and just 2,100 Christian casualties.

This Christian victory permanently ended Islamic dominance in Central Europe. by @evdaimonos

🇵🇱⚔️ We remember in September when the Winged Hussars arrived!

Today wasn't just any day.

On September 12th, 1683, Poland saved Europe from Islamic conquest with the biggest cavalry charge in history.

100,000 Ottoman jihadi warriors surrounded Vienna, the golden apple of Christian Europe.

They had one thing in mind.

To kill the men, enslave the women and convert their children into future jihadis.

And right before they could do this, 18,000 Polish winged hussars appeared from a nearby hill, led by King Jan Sobieski III.

The Ottomans were devastated, and they never tried invading Europe again.

But, Islamic extremism has never stopped being a threat to Western Civilization.

And you, dear Europeans, you still carry the same spirit and blood that has saved your home more than once. by @evdaimonos

🇪🇸✝️🇵🇹 Today is the anniversary of one of the greatest Christian military victories against Muslims in history.

On July 16, 1212, three Christian kingdoms united into a single crusader army and crushed the outnumbering Muslim armies of the Almohad Caliphate at the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa.

The Christian forces were led by King Alfonso VIII of Castile, King Sancho VII of Navarre, and King Peter II of Aragon, all blessed by Pope Innocent III.

They led a 14,000-strong Christian army in a crusade against a jihad of 30,000 Muslim warriors led by Caliph Muhammad al-Nasir.

They were joined by the Knights Templar, the Knights Hospitaler, the Order of Calatrava, the Order of Santiago and the Order of Évora.

Despite being outnumbered 2 to 1, the Christian forces dealt a crushing defeat to the Muslim enemy, eliminating 20,000 of them while losing only 2,000.

The Christian victory permanently shattered Muslim rule in the Iberian peninsula, breaking up the unified Almohad Caliphate into tiny principalities and turning the tide of the Reconquista. by @evdaimonos

When a Christian knight converted 1600 pagans that held him prisoner.

In 1283, during the Northern Crusades, knights of the Teutonic Order raided a pagan tribe in Yotvingia (near Poland).

Although the raid was successful, a knight named Ludwig von Liebenzel was captured by a Yotvingian nobleman by the name of Cantegerda.

For a long time, the Order thought Ludwig was missing.

Meanwhile, he used his preaching skills and charisma to befriend Cantegerda, convincing him to accept Jesus Christ, along with all his subjects.

"Master Konrad saw Brother Ludwig coming towards him from Sudovia, surrounded by a crowd of men and women. Among them was Cantegerda, and about 1,600 heathens, all of whom he had converted from their error and brought to the path of the true faith by teaching them while he was a prisoner'.

Iran is currently home to the fastest-growing Christian movement in the world.

Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the population of believers surged from around 500 people to over one million today.

This is largely due to the nation's disillusionment by the Islamic Regime's theocratic rule.

Despite the threat of imprisonment and brutal persecution, Iranians continue to evangelize via smuggled Bibles and digital connections.

The lack of central physical buildings has actually accelerated the spread of Christianity in Iran, as it relies on peer-to-peer evangelism.

The trend is now spilling over into neighboring Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

In 1283, Ludwig von Liebenzell took part in a raid in Yotvingia. Although the raid had been successful, Ludwig was captured again, that time by a Yotvingian noblemen called Cantegerda.⁣
⁣
The Teutonic Knights had long regarded Ludwig as missing. Meanwhile, being in his second captivity, Ludwig displayed his diplomacy skills again: he befriended Cantegerda and convinced him to convert together with all his subjects. Ludwig returned safely thereafter, bringing Cantegerda and 1,600 his people to the Order’s possessions for christening.⁣
⁣
As stated in The Chronicle of Prussia: "Master Konrad saw Brother Ludwig coming towards him from Sudovia, surrounded by a crowd of men and women. Among them was Cantegerda ... and about 1,600 heathens, all of whom he had converted from their error and brought to the path of the true faith by teaching them while he was a prisoner". ⁣

In 1280, Brother Ludwig von Liebenzell was taken prisoner by Skomantas of Sudovia. He saw Ludwig an exceptional warrior and brave man like himself and for this reason he looked after him and enjoyed his company. The two became friends and soon Ludwig was released. ⁣
⁣
Afterwards in 1283, Skomantas was voluntarily Christianized along with his people and became military ally of the Teutonic Order, as The Prussian Chronicle goes: "He finally gave himself up to the brothers with his whole household and accepted the Christian faith by receiving baptism with all of his men".
