Is there such thing as hard launching a separation? 🧐
Why talking about the end of our marriage has made me feel more secure in it ✍️

I really admire people who can curate literally anything. A photo dump, a wardrobe, a vibe.

Sometimes my life feels like I’m just throwing pasta at the wall to see if it sticks.

But then I have moments where I look at my life and realise I genuinely wouldn’t change a thing. It’s messy, doesn’t always make sense and probably isn’t particularly well curated, but it makes me happy 💕 by @eve_winter_scott

This week, my intention was to practise patience. Here’s 2 photos from my camera roll that sum up how that went 🫠😂

I have written a long-form article which I’ll publish on my Substack on the 4th of November. It’s a story I’ve not been ready to share for a long time (almost 3 years!!!). It’s written, I’ve got permission from the people involved to share it but I’m giving myself another week and a half before I do.

I’m not sure if I’ll make any edits in that time but I’m trusting the process. I’m always a million miles an hour so I’m really forcing myself to slow down on this one… and it’s hard 😖

Anyways, pls subscribe to my substack and make this all worth it ✌️thanks Xx by @eve_winter_scott

A weekend of English talent 😍 @sophieteaart & @catburns

I feel absolutely spoiled — so it was only natural to go home with a print of Sophie’s too 🥹🎨

I’m having a moment where everything in life just feels so bloody beautiful. I can’t explain it in a way that would resonate with anyone else and while that’s kind of frustrating, I think it reiterates that this moment is for me to soak up. ✍️ by @eve_winter_scott

My latest article is about social media, validation, and the way we (or I) turn things that are supposed to be fun into another measure of success.
This is also the first article in my new Substack publishing schedule, so here’s what you can expect from me going forward:

✍️ Free articles every so often: pop culture, opinions and the occasional personal essay.

🔒 Paid articles monthly: a little more personal, a little more revealing, and the things I might not share with everyone.

💬 Notes throughout the week: random thoughts, observations and whatever else is taking up space in my brain.

📧 Email once a month: a personal message from me to you but rest assured if I have nothing to say I won’t carelessly fill your inbox!

No grand promises to become a content machine. Just more writing, a little more regularly.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, the link’s in my bio. Come along, won’t you? ✍️ x by @eve_winter_scott

Yes, I’m still reminiscing about our holiday this time last year.
What do you mean we only had 1 day of rain 🤯

Tyler holding tiny items was a central motif of the trip

They definitely took selfies back in the day

Would walk back for a dirty martini at this bar

I really believe this man was a ghost

Imagine coming home to this

The MVP 🍑

The cabin that saved our last night in Ireland

Run club 😝

Chef Tyler 👨‍🍳

Touched grass

Need I say more

Tyler’s most disappointing part of the trip (thought it’d be bigger)

@catburns makes music about the messy, ordinary parts of being a person. Kind of like my Substack but with better rhythm and much less word vomit! 😂
Her music has been the soundtrack to one of the most peaceful years of my life. Do you yourself a favour and get a ticket to her show 💕
Also The Traitors are back and I couldn’t be happier!

It took a while for me to be able to say “I love alcohol” without feeling like an alcoholic. Or over-explaining myself by clarifying that I simply like a dirty martini 🍸 But it’s not always that straightforward.
