#2016 was a WILD WILD WILD ride…
One of my most adventurous year:
1. Started out with a vision on a silence retreat that I was on a spaceship under the Sphinx. Fast forward not even 3 weeks and a trip to Egypt literally fell into my lap. I’m traveling for almost a month with a small group of Egyptologist students who I’ve never met before in a hot minivan from Cairo all the way down to Aswan along the Nile… Visiting every single temple, tomb and holy rock and secret dune in the desert. First time in the great pyramid Easter Day and I get the chance to spend a couple very very long and eventful minutes in the King’s Chamber all by myself in complete darkness after causing a power outage. Twice. 🤭
Visions and Interesting chance encounters and weird and weird things didn’t stop to happen.
2. First visit back in South of France after I lived there a couple years back and a cruel “Madame” tricked me into being her slave.
This was the first place I moved to all by myself without knowing anything or anyone there. And that is where magic after magic after magic started happening to me. 🪄 And where part of my heart never stopped living at…
3. Ended the year with a work trip to Istanbul where we missed a terror attack only by a hair stroke and was questionable if I can get through border security control due to some undesirable Bridget Jones worthy factor…

Preparing for my citizenship test, waking up and going to bed every day listening to and singing the Star Spangled Banner (and crying over it) studying the Declaration of Independence, I was nothing short of inspired and deeply moved. I built so much emotion and appreciation for this country and for everyone who has ever done anything to keep this great idea going despite every fault and weaknesses in the system. I truly embodied becoming the part of this great idea. A dream has awakened-one I never knew existed-and came true. Here I am to practice my new unalienable rights: LIFE,LIBERTY and PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS!
