my body is still recovering from many hours of beating fiber. so much love for @pocosinarts. so much love for many hours looking off the dock at the scuppernong. so much love for paper and process.

many thanks to @jamie_california for being such an amazing instructor. extremely grateful for this opportunity to reunite with my dear friend @badselfportrait

late nights in the paper studio have been a constant in my life for awhile but I’ve never been the one making the paper. looking forward to continuing my favorite activity as the maker not just the observer.

one of my favorites. image from the @hemlocksounds show under the stony run bridge. it was also included in the winter/spring 2025 ed of @thestonyrun <3. such a wonderful night. been thinking a lot about it recently.

my first big stone! thank you to lyla and jonathan for guidance and evan for helping me proof it.

a difficult one to post because of instagrams ratio. enjoy a little peak at its instillation buddy from last years art walk as well!

spent some time last month outside with a pad of paper and ink in rutters mill park and johns st park. I did about 20 of these sweet little drawings of garden fences and the blooming tulips and daffodils. a hand full of them are up in on the hill cafe but there are more available.

if you’re looking for a mothers day gift pop on by the cafe to take a look or dm me for images of what’s available. all are 7.5x5x5in. framed are $75 and unframed are $50-65 sliding scale. though im happy to chat about prices :D

I’m also in the process of settling into a new apartment and have been working on finally creating a catalog of all my available work. if you’ve ever been interested in a drawing/print let me know and I’ll share that soon!

As branch.

drawing from sometime in the fall. image from a beautiful summer day in north carolina. posting now on a cloudy spring morning.

from a collection of drawings that serve as a reminder that this land and the people that inhabit it should not exist as separate entities. the land is not simply a wife vista to overlook, survey, and extract from. we must situate ourselves in community with one another and with the earth.

there is immense honor in knowing the dirt and leaves and morning dew.
