Authentic authorship to me means being genuine in all that I do and being sincere in my connections with readers.

I’ve been in the writing game longer than I care to admit! There have been highs, serious lows and more than one time I have had to claw my way back from a blip, but I’m still here and still writing.

My 5 star September reads! These books books that truly spoke to me, kept me up at night and left me thinking long after I finished them.

I think the system might have glitched because this is taking a lot longer than normal. *sigh* who knew when I was a kid I would learn to have such dread for circle graphics that spiralled endlessly. It’s only topped by the black screen of doom when everything crashes!

It was a mixed bag of reads last week. Fourth Wing stole too much time from my life before I could take no more, Sicken and So Die was an unexpected win, while the Marlow Murder Club was a disappointment after being on my TBR for ages.

It’s 3.30pm on a Friday and I need sugar! But the cupboard is bare except for the least favourite chocolate. So what do I do? Well, I need the sugar 😩😉#indiewriter #evelynjamesauthor by @evelynjamesauthor

I know people are raving about this book, but it’s just not gripping me. I was the same with Hunger Games, so maybe I should have guessed this was not for me.
