so much life, so much love 🫂

these past few months have probably been some of the hardest months of my life, but somehow i also feel like i’ve never lived this much. i’ve cried, i’ve felt lost, i’ve felt lonely, and i’ve had moments where my own thoughts felt heavier than anything else around me. but even through all of that, i don’t think there’s been a day where i haven’t stopped and realized how blessed i am, even in the smallest things. God has changed me in ways i never thought were possible, but it didn’t happen overnight. it wasn’t one prayer and suddenly everything was okay. i had to build my faith, my morals, and the person i wanted to become brick by brick. i got tired of feeling lonely. i got tired of carrying pain. i got tired of letting negative thoughts take over my mind. i got tired of being stuck in the same place mentally and emotionally. and somewhere in the middle of all of that, i started noticing how much love was around me. watching the people i love fall in love, build relationships, choose each other, and experience something beautiful. and somehow, i get to experence that too. i get to love and be loved, and i don’t think i’ll ever take that for granted. somewhere along the way, i started choosing differently. choosing God. choosing peace. choosing gratitude. choosing love. choosing to believe that maybe everything i was going through was changing me for a reason. i’m nowhere near perfect, and i still have days where i struggle, but i can genuinely say i’m not the same person i was. these months have been hard, but they’ve also been beautiful. i’ve lost parts of myself, found new parts of myself, experienced love in so many forms, and learned to appreciate life in a way i never did before. and through everything, God has been there. by @evelynodalis
