Joyful is truly the only way to describe this weekend. 🤍

Maggie + Keller’s wedding was such a special one. From getting married at Maggie’s beloved alma mater in Newport to a beautiful reception overlooking the Newport Harbor, every part of the day felt so incredibly them. And somehow, we were gifted with the most perfect weather to celebrate it all.

So much love for these two. 🤍

A look back at Hannah & Sean's wedding celebration at Rosecliff Mansion. ✨

From passed Aperol Spritz to the raw bar, eastern dim sum station, and an espresso martini tower, every detail was curated for an unforgettable celebration.

Congratulations again to Hannah & Sean, and thank you for letting us be part of such an incredible day.

One staircase. Four completely different stories.

One of the biggest misconceptions about wedding portraits is that every location only gives you one photo.

In reality, I’m constantly looking for different perspectives, movement, architecture, and emotion within the same space.

Without walking more than a few steps, we created:
• a timeless portrait
• a dramatic overhead moment
• an editorial statement image
• a candid, joy-filled photograph

When we slow down and fully explore a location, your gallery becomes so much richer.

Which one are you choosing: 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Welcome to the first edition of Venue Spotlight, a new series where I’ll be sharing some of New England’s most breathtaking wedding venues and what makes each one so special through the eyes of a photographer.

First up is Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.

Built in 1902 and inspired by the Grand Trianon at Versailles, Rosecliff is one of Newport’s most iconic Gilded Age estates. From its grand marble columns and sweeping lawns to its breathtaking ballroom, every corner feels timeless and effortlessly elegant.

One of the things I love most about photographing weddings here is the way the venue transforms throughout the day. Afternoon light illuminates the gardens, golden hour wraps the mansion in a warm glow, and as the evening unfolds, the ballroom comes to life beneath its crystal chandeliers.

Every space offers something unique, making it a dream setting for wedding photography.

Architecture: Grand Gilded Age elegance
Best Light: Golden hour on the south lawn
Portrait Location: The marble staircase
Signature Feature: The ballroom and crystal chandeliers
Perfect For: Couples dreaming of a timeless Newport wedding

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels romantic, refined, and timeless, Rosecliff is a venue that never disappoints.

This is just the beginning of the series. I’ll be highlighting more of my favorite New England wedding venues and sharing what makes each one unforgettable.

A little sneak peak from yesterday. Not sure if this was before or after the florist left and 30 seconds later the wind swept through and knocked over a bunch of the centerpieces and soaked the tables… and several of the table cards burned (yes… burned by the candles!) and our amazing venue coordinater recreated them before anyone knew while the rest of us cleaned up the mess like it never happened! ❤️ wind was our biggest problem yesterday and I will take that! Overall great day!
