Working with MPE means so much more than creating a beautiful event. It’s about designing an experience that makes people feel something—whether that’s excitement, appreciation, connection, or pure joy.

For this event, we celebrated Red River Mutuals 150 years in business while honouring the people who helped make that milestone possible.

A cocktail-style reception was the perfect fit, giving guests the freedom to move, mingle, and enjoy the evening at their own pace. We carefully designed the flow of the event with multiple food stations, passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the night, several bars, and an interactive champagne wall so there was always something happening.

From aerialists and strolling magic to live caricatures and live music, every entertainment element was chosen to keep guests engaged from start to finish.

We transformed the venue with statement ceiling installations, custom bars, monogram projections, and beautiful signage that reflected our client’s vision while adding details they hadn’t even imagined.

That’s one of our favourite parts of what we do—taking an idea and elevating it into an experience people will remember long after the night is over. by @eventlight

Red Rover does more than light up stages. Every winter, they help bring Festival du Voyageur’s incredible snow sculptures to life after the sun goes down. It’s amazing how a little light can completely transform each carving, highlighting every detail and making them just as impressive at night as they are during the day. Always cool to see the magic happen behind the scenes.

Looking to elevate your venue entrance? Look up ✨

Decorating the ceiling—above the dance floor, over guest tables, or throughout the space—instantly transforms the entire atmosphere. It draws the eye, creates depth, and gives that unforgettable wow moment the second you walk in.

It’s not just décor… it’s an experience 🤍

At a recent corporate event, a client told us the lighting “made the networking hour feel like a TED talk and a cocktail party all at once.”

That’s the magic of intentional production.

There’s a moment at every event where the room settles, the lights hit just right, and you feel the connection.

That’s the power of atmosphere.

We don’t just light the space, we help you design the moments guests will remember. by @eventlight

I’ve been lucky to witness a lot of “big” moments. But the ones that stick with me?

The spontaneous laughter between strangers, the nod of appreciation during a speech, or the quiet connection when the room goes still.

Event production isn’t just about showing up and running the show, it’s about designing and planning for those shared human experiences. It’s the intention and work done before getting to the venue that separates your event from the rest. While connection looks different at every event, professional lighting is the common denominator that makes it possible. by @eventlight

5 Traits of a Reliable Vendor:

✅ They ask for your floor plan
✅ They talk power early (if relevant of course)
✅ They know how to coordinate across teams
✅ They’re realistic with timelines
✅ They stay in their lane

Reliability = foresight + follow-through. That’s the EventLight standard. by @eventlight

You know the gear. Now meet the team that lifts it, loves it, or occasionally curses it.

Their faves, their least faves, and a whole lot of honesty. Because behind every smooth event is a crew with strong opinions.

Last July, we worked with a corporate client who’d booked a heritage venue, with beautiful bones and very limited infrastructure.

We coordinated across three AV vendors, the decor team, and venue staff to build a shared power plan that avoided a system crash… which nearly happened the year before.
Reliable production isn’t just about gear. It’s about foresight.

That’s why power planning is always part of our scope. From weddings to conferences, it’s one of the most overlooked (and mission-critical) details of any event. by @eventlight

A shoutout to every vendor who’s picked up our last-minute call.

To every planner who keeps us looped in.

And to every tech who knows when to ask, “Do you need a hand?”

Reliable events happen when everyone’s in sync. by @eventlight
