Corporate Critters 🤣Meet Iris, our new Chief Security Officer and Head of Perimeter Chaos. Iris was hired to keep the office safe, but she mostly just keeps the office furniture on its toes. Her security strategy involves a move fast and break things approach, where the things being broken are usually my favorite pair of shoes or a stray cardboard box. 🐾She is extremely dedicated to her morning patrols, which mostly consist of running at top speed from the kitchen to the couch until she slides into a wall. 🏎️💨 While she hasn't actually caught any intruders yet, she has successfully intercepted three socks and a very suspicious looking roll of paper towels. 🧻 She considers anything on the floor to be a security threat that must be neutralized by chewing it into a thousand tiny pieces.Even though her professional conduct is questionable and she frequently falls asleep on the job, Iris is the only security guard we have who accepts payment in belly rubs and peanut butter. 🥜 She might be a total menace to society, but she is also the sweetest employee on the payroll. Actual footage of Genesis trying to eat me. 🦖🍽️Don't let that cute little face fool you—Genesis is 100% spice today! While it looks like a tiny prehistoric tantrum, this feisty behavior is actually a natural hunting instinct! 💪Even as babies, alligators practice their death roll and lunging skills on anything that moves to prepare for life in the wild.Luckily for my fingers, Genesis is currently more chicken nugget sized than apex predator sized.Fun Fact: Baby alligators are born with sharp little teeth and a big attitude to help them survive, as almost everything in the swamp wants to snack on them! 😯#evergladesoutpost #wildlifesanctuary #alligator #genesis #explorepage by @evergladesoutpost
