⚡️ Home Tip You Might Not Know ⚡️

If your house has ever been replumbed or had the main water line replaced, your electrical grounding may no longer be doing its job.

A LOT of homes around Marietta / Metro Atlanta were originally grounded to the main water line back when it was copper or metal. These days, most plumbers replace that line with plastic. This means your grounding electrode system can become ineffective without anyone realizing it.

Why does this matter? Proper grounding helps protect your home, appliances, and electronics from faults and surges.

If your water line was swapped to plastic, it’s worth having your grounding checked to make sure you’re still protected. It’s a quick inspection and can prevent big headaches later.

Questions? We’re happy to help! Give us a call and we can come take a look! taken in Marietta, Georgia by @evergreenelectricga
