What is a CSA? Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system where consumers buy a share of a farm's produce out in advance. This helps us farmers with upfront costs and provides our members with fresh, local produce throughout the growing season; (October-June). By supporting a CSA you help DIRECTLY support your farmer. Big news! We’re excited to announce that the next training site for the NFUSA Farmer Training Program will be @everoakfarm in Orlando, led by farmer Mike Garcia! Everoak is a small, family-run, Certified Naturally Grown farm using bio-intensive and regenerative practices to grow nutrient-dense food while building healthy, biologically active soil. The farm serves the Orlando community through its CSA, farmstand, and local restaurants. Through our Farmer Training Program, aspiring growers gain hands-on, real-world experience in regenerative agriculture, from soil health and crop planning to irrigation, field management, harvesting, and distribution. We’re thrilled to expand the program to Central Florida and work alongside Mike to help train the next generation of community farmers. Stay tuned, applications and more details coming soon!
