Dappled light on demand - Flexible reflector systems for working professionals 🪩💡🌞

The cinematographer @antwoni wanted to keep the natural lakeside sunlight as part of the look, while giving the can a bit more shape and control.

We used an @eversirius Multimirror to place the sunlight where we needed it, with a white board on the opposite side adding a small kicker.

Nothing complicated — just a useful way to work when the real sun already looks good and you want a bit more direction without losing the natural feel.

These are dapple-making reflectors. Flexible mirror tiles that you bend into shape, point at a light source, and use to create organic, natural-looking pools of dappled light. The kind of light that looks like it’s coming through leaves, or bouncing off water. The kind of light that used to take forever to fake on set.

This is what it’s all about, one light outside - creating lots of adjustable natural texture inside. A lovely example of what you can do with the Eversirius Reflectors shown here by the master @karri_poykio_gaffer_services We love seeing examples like this. The possibilities are limitless 🪩💡

None of this came from the sun. Just ideas from @jani_kumpulainen_dop , the right tools and very little work.

LED sources with fresnel lenses outside the house and Eversirius Multi-mirror Flexible Reflectors placed around the rooms.

Sometimes breaking light apart feels more natural than filling the whole space.

The small reflected highlights added texture, movement and imperfections that felt right for the location and the story.

Tiny reflections. Completely different room.
