When you're having a Halloween party AND celebrating passing your new work license (not sure what one, but one that uses a plumbing wrench). I love when my customers ask me for cool ideas, it definitely keeps things interesting and fun!! 😀

6" heart cake with black buttercream 😍
Let me just say now, I love using my black cloth backdrop normally for pictures because trying to hold a backdrop board upright with one hand while taking a picture with the other, that isn't crooked or off center is evidently not a strong skill set of mine 🤣🤣 (one of these days I'll get around to finding a white cloth backdrop that doesn't wrinkle)

Construction cookie set for a 3rd birthday party! I had the silver edible paint out already for a cake I was making at the same time, and I couldn't help myself, I had to add a little metallic pop to the scoops on the trucks too 😊 (don't worry, the customer was okay with it too)

This Frozen theme cake was a great example of not breaking copyright protections with the cake design, while leaving space for the customer to add their own cake topper Frozen figurine toy to perfectly tie it all together!
8" and 6" tiers, vanilla buttercream with fondant decorations and cooked sugar for the "ice" decorations

They asked for "fun bright colors - something to make her smile when she sees it". I offer delivery, so this is the 2nd time so far this school year that I've been able to help an out-of-state parent or loved one surprise their UConn student with a cake for their birthday - and it gives me so much joy and fulfillment each time I get to be a part of that thoughtful expression of love and caring! 💕 And of course, it wouldn't be a birthday cake without candles, so I made sure to include some complimentary ones for this off-campus apt delivery 😁

The family tree grew even bigger for this loving family celebrating the adoption of siblings into their family. The story of the Mighty Oak Tree, and Lily of the Valley were meaningful symbols for them and I loved the thoughtfulness of the cake/cupcake design idea they asked for.
