Our intimate civil ceremony - Part 2 of 3. With faith as our foundation and our fathers as witnesses, we professed our love before God. We can’t put into words how incredibly blessed we feel to have our community seal our destiny with prayers and love.

Life together has been nothing short of love in full bloom, endless laughter, infinite adventures and boundless growth. This moment was for us, quietly sacred and deeply ours. And to our amazing village, we cannot wait to celebrate with you in the Mediterranean next year!

The day she said yes, the day my purpose became our purpose. Who would have thought bumping into you would lead me to this moment, but if I’m sure of anything, it’s spending forever with you by my side.

Proverbs 18:22 says that, “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and receives favour from the Lord.” Well I can confidently say I have found THE best thing. I’ve loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you and I knew there and then, that there was nobody I’d ever choose but you. It’s been only you and will forever be only you. I love every single thing about you, from your beautiful smile, to your infectious energy. Your kindness knows no bounds. You have a heart that pours into others and you’ve stood by me tenaciously through the highs and lows. You’ve pushed me to be the best version of myself. If I could craft my dream girl, it’ll be you a million times over.

To your parents,

I thank you! For raising such a wonderful young woman and instilling the importance of God in her life. At our core, we’ve placed God on his rightful perch, above all else. Thank you for showing us what a loving relationship looks like. I promise to continue and take over where you have left off.

To my parents,

Ẹ ṣe. Your boy is now a man. I’m who I am today because of you. Thank you for your countless prayers over me, for your diligence and patience with me. For raising us with God at our centre.

Dad, I wish you were here to see the man I’m becoming but I’ve felt your presence around me constantly. I hope you’re proud of me and that I continue to make you proud.
