Okay… update on Mr. AK 😭🐾

First off, thank you. Seriously, to everyone who donated, checked in, prayed, texted, reposted, the love has been unreal and I will never take it lightly. I’m forever grateful!

Now for the “WHAT HAPPENED TO AK?!”

Short answer: idek.

Long answer: last week around 9pm, he woke up out of his sleep heaving, dragging his face on the floor, yelling/barking and his stomach was hugeeee.

I called his doctor and they immediately instructed me “bring him in NOW.” They suspected GDV (bloat), which basically means his stomach flipped. If untreated, it can cut off blood flow to vital organs and… yeah.

We got there, they checked him out and sure enough his stomach flipped and he needed emergency surgery. All I heard was a very expensive invoice was on its way I had to ask: “How much is this gonna cost me?” Doctor responded “About $12K. We will need $9,000 down to start.”

💀💀Ngl my first thought was ABSOLUTELY NOT! It just might be my time to say goodbye to the puppy because huh?! But the doctor gave me 5mins to think it through and..

Fast forward 6 days later: AK is now recovering from his surgery and I’m officially paying off this medical bill. 😭😂

I’m making this post if nothing else to say Thank you, to everyone who’s showed up man!!

Wrote out a spec story driven video in the middle of last year called Before the Bounce which follows a young girl who has a routine that focus on each step she takes after the alarm goes off and before the first bounce of the ball. In the world we live in everything is so instant sometimes the patiences is sometimes overlooked. I know I do it and is where this story really came from.

This was shot at the end of last year with the amazing @jfl.visualz and help from @paityn_adams. I can't give these two more credit cuz they really showed up and helped out and I truly APPRICATE them for what they have done!

I really just threw myself into this one not having a solid shot plan and just going off the story. I still love how it turned out. Short memory loss but I learned from my mistakes from this one and can't wait to share what I have planned for the future!
