Yes, Ifetayo means “Love Brings Joy”.
Indeed, we love the children and they do make us happy.

Come on brilliant ones, do twirl.

Ifetayo is a safe place for your children to shine their light.

Come see.
We’re hosting Orientation on September 19th at 10:30am.
At our place, 1561 Bedford Avenue, 2nd fl.

Special thanks to @camilleabrown for partnering with us through her company, @everybodymoveworldwide, to teach the Afro-jazz dance students pictured here. @carmenmcarriker, extraordinary dancer/choreographer, we are blessed to count you among Ifetayo teaching artists. See how these students blossomed under the light of your nurture and instruction. by @everybodymoveworldwide

At Every Body Move, we believe dance has the power to bring people together.

In collaboration with @queensborodancefestival , we created space for community members to connect through the shared experience of social dance. Led by teaching artists Dalmar Nation and Ethel Calhoun, participants explored movement, rhythm, history, and the joy of dancing together.

Thank you to Queensboro Dance Festival, Dalmar Nation, and Ethel Calhoun for helping us continue this mission and to every participant who showed up ready to connect, learn, and move.

Because every body deserves the opportunity to experience the power of dance. ✨ by @everybodymoveworldwide

Whether as an audience member, a donor, a student, friend, or otherwise, support from community members like you has carried CABD through nearly 20 years of tour performances, social dance workshops, mentorships, and a new summer arts intensive, reaching over half a million people globally—and counting.

This August, we invite you to join our monthly giving Circle of Abundance and become a Rhythm Keeper. Like the beat that unifies us onstage, your monthly donation is a steady pulse that keeps the organization strong and nimble.

Click the link in bio to Become a Rhythm Keeper today and help CABD plan for the future, knowing your gift is a sustained commitment to our work by covering expenses from studio space and artist salaries to costumes and travel fees. by @everybodymoveworldwide
