6 months ago I was looking at buying another notebook for my gratitude… I was staring at my unfinished yearly diary, my to do list, my notebook with all my notes and I thought why do I need another thing, there should just be a notebook that has everything in it… so I made it… & forgot about it haha and now here they are! YOUR YEAR 🌟 an undated notebook with your daily to do list, daily reflection/gratitude, a weekly planner, brain dump & space at the back for all the random notes/ideas you make! 🙃 by @everyday_connection

Brandon is one of my favourite people ive met in Sydney, he is 1/2 of Blend Theory but he has the kindest energy of anyone you’ve met. He makes you feel welcome, he makes you laugh, he makes you feel like you belong, no matter who you are. What he & Rico have created in Blend Theory is something I admire more than anything because not only is it about music, it’s about community and bringing people together. I’m so grateful I met him & so proud that he was so willing to share his story with us. It was truly so special to see a different side to Brandon & I hope he’s story resonates with you.

It takes courage to share your darkest moments and this video series, ‘you’re needed here’ is here to remind you that you’re not alone. a dream come true day hosting the very first community Dream Lab workshop!!! 🌟 I honestly had a moment this morning where I was actually able to take in what happened on Sunday. I started creating this workshop because there was just nothing like this, nothing that allowed people to sit down, reflect on why they do what they do, and put all their ideas or dreams onto paper. Everyone’s goals were different, some people walked in not knowing what they were passionate about, others walked in with a clear idea of what they want, and it was so incredible seeing how people’s voices changed through out the morning, how their eyes lit up when they spoke about different things, the excitement in their voice when they had an idea or the way everyone was so keen to help each other. It’s such a great reminder that no matter what, we’re not alone and we never have to do it alone. We’re better when we work together, we’re better when we share our ideas, when we back ourselves. I’m so proud of every single person in this room and I can’t wait to do it again sooon!!!! I think everyone deserves the space to dream like the kid who hasn’t discovered self doubt yet 🩵 #thedreamlab by @everyday_connection

I’ve changed careers multiple times, I’ve been a town planner, a business owner, a high school teacher & now a content creator but one thing that has always guided me is my passion and my why. I always knew why I was doing each thing so even when I felt lost and didn’t know if I was making the right decisions, I always knew how to get myself on track. I think a lot of us feel lost at times, we don’t know what our why is, we don’t know what keeps us going or how to bring the vision we have for ourselves to life and that can be hard. The dream lab workshop was made to be hands on in getting you to think about your why, your ideas, your vision and how to get you one step closer. Varsha is someone who has inspired me from the moment I met her. She uses her lived experience to make a real difference in our society through her advocacy, her writing & speaking. I’m in awe of her, her journey & how she has grown as a person. She is so special and im so grateful that she shared her story with us, especially in a time where we really need to speak about the impact that social media & beauty standards are having on the mental health of young people around the world.

Manu’s passion, vulnerability and determination is something that inspires me every day. He’s striving every day to be the best athlete he can be, but his honest about his journey with mental health, the ups & downs along the way, and he reminds everyone that they aren’t alone. He’s big, kind heart shines through in everything that he does and we’re reminded how important it is to have these conversations with the men in our lives. He reminds us that we can be both strong & soft, masculine & vulnerable. I know Manu will inspire you, just as he inspires the people around him every day!!
