Kitchen demo is coming along! Cutting the wall was the best choice! It changed the whole vibe of the house! Part one: the back deck ✨
We started working on the deck back in May. And then I got pregnant 🤷‍♀️ and then I was very nauseous and so tired 😴 so our progress came to a hard stop for a while.
But I found some energy and motivation, and I’m so happy to report we finally have a finished back deck! And a place to hang out for the rest of the summer ☀️
What do you think of the white with the dark brown? Was painting the risers the right call??

New series starting now 🎉
I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant today, and these babies only get until 37 weeks! We’ve got 22 weeks to finish up our existing projects, renovate the kitchen, and create a cute and cozy nursery. Life update 💕 Things have been very quiet on my page. For the last three and a half years we have been navigating infertility. The highs and lows of this journey have been like whiplash. All the while renoing this crazy house, some of the days it’s just been all too much.
But we are so excited so announce that Baby A… and Baby B will be joining our little family in January of 2027 ✨ You read that right 😅 Twins 💕 we are both so excited (and a bit overwhelmed) that our dream of Liam being a big brother are currently underway 🎉

So any of my twin moms, please send me all your knowledge ! 💅 I need all the help I can get!

If you are currently trying to navigate infertility, I first want to say I’m so sorry. Some of my worst moments were during our journey. I know these announcements always come with mixed emotions but please know I’m holding space for you and sending you all the good energy. I hope your baby dreams come true ✨

Liams cozy room 🤍
This little room has taken some time. But it was a good reminder that home takes time!

But I’m so glad it’s done. And Liam got to have lots of input from painting the walls purple to adding all kinds of Pokemon pictures and Lego that he’s built 🥹

He still needs a little pin board for photos and art work so TBD on that! But for now it’s perfectly cozy, filled with his favourite things, it’s organized and functions well which is important! 💕 And this new fold out couch has been a huge hit!

DIY Canvas part ✌️
Did you see that ending coming??? 😅 I honestly didn’t think that was going to happen. I put it on the wall and was going to see if I loved it over the next couple days, and two minutes later it comes crashing down 😅😂 I took that as a sign from the universe that it’s not supposed to be in my house. Did I just ruin this canvas ?? 😅
Possibly! I started with some drywall compound. Then that wasn’t enough. So flowers!! But then all I could figure out how to make consistently was these weird roses 🫣 then I attempted to pipe some drywall compound for leaves and that was a fail…. So I kind of made some little ones randomly with my pottery tools 🥲 anyways… tomorrow we will attempt to paint it! Come back and see if we can salvage this or not 🫶
