I was a laser hair removal CLIENT long before I ever became a laser technician. And I think that makes a difference. 🤍

Before Everyday Body, I had my own marketing business, but I’ve always loved the beauty industry. Laser was something I already knew so much about because I’d spent years experiencing it firsthand.

Different machines, different technicians, different techniques, different results. I learned a LOT sitting on the other side of that treatment bed.

So when I entered the industry, I wasn’t going in blindly. I knew what I loved, what I didn’t, what questions to ask and what kind of experience I wanted to provide.

And that’s why I’m so particular about the little things today.

For example, I always cleanse your underarms with alcohol before treatment, even when you tell me you haven’t applied deodorant. It’s one of the preparation steps I use to help ensure the area is clean and free of product residue.

Those little details matter to me.

I share educational content because I genuinely want you to understand your treatments, ask questions and know what good care looks like. Not because there’s only one way to do everything, but because informed clients are empowered clients.

I love laser because I’ve experienced the convenience myself. Less shaving, less time spent on hair removal and one less thing to think about.

Getting to provide something I genuinely believe in, while helping people feel more confident and comfortable in their skin, is something I’m incredibly proud of.

We treat clients with PCOS at Everyday Body, and we’re so happy to share that many have experienced great results!

But here’s something we always discuss during consultations: Your laser journey may look a little different.

PCOS can involve elevated androgen activity, which can continue stimulating hair growth even after successful laser treatments.

So what does that mean for you?

💕 You can still experience significant hair reduction.
💕 You may need more sessions than someone without PCOS.
💕 Your long-term maintenance schedule may look different.
💕 Your hormonal management, hair growth and treatment history all matter!

For some clients, maintenance might mean coming back once or twice a year. For others with PCOS, we may discuss appointments every 3 to 4 months, depending on their results.

You’re spending money on laser hair removal, you should be seeing progress. 👀

Laser is a journey. Your hair grows in different cycles, which is why one appointment isn’t going to remove everything and consistency matters.

BUT that doesn’t mean you should feel like absolutely nothing is happening until session 6 or 8.

Even after your first treatments, we’re looking for signs of progress like:

✨ Slower regrowth
✨ Less hair coming back
✨ Hair growing back finer or softer
✨ Areas becoming patchier
✨ Less frequent shaving
✨ Hair shedding in the weeks following treatment

Laser targets the hair during treatment, then successfully treated hairs can shed over the following days and weeks. That’s why we always tell clients to be patient with the process and pay attention to what their regrowth looks like between appointments.

I’m also a big believer that beauty treatments don’t need to follow the mentality of “it has to get worse before it gets better.” With laser, our goal is safe, progressive improvement, not unnecessary irritation or adverse reactions.

Every body and every area responds differently, so results won’t look identical from client to client. But appointment by appointment, we want to see the overall trend moving in the right direction. 💕
