I used to always buy cologne because that’s what “men” were supposed to buy. But here’s the thing—perfume actually lasts way longer.

Luckily, we’ve moved past gendering fragrances. So don’t be shy—guys can rock perfume, and women can wear cologne. Smell good, period.

Hair Hacks!

No need for sticky gels or stiff sprays to get that volume! Here are 3 easy hacks for super volume without using synthetic polymers or VOCs

1️⃣ Add a boost of Argan to your conditioner
Mix a tiny drop of argan oil into your conditioner before rinsing. Tames Frizz 🦁

2️⃣ Reverse condition
Condition first, then shampoo. Reduces oil buildup from conditioners 🫧

3️⃣ Try leave-ins with texture
Look for leave-in masks or hair balms with buttery textures 🧈

💦 Laxatives… in your skincare? Yup.

Turns out, some of the ingredients don’t care where they work, gut or skin, they’re here to pull in water and keep things hydrated.

Look for these hydration heroes in your skin care formulas:

🧪 Glycerin – the ultimate water magnet. Hydrates your skin and…helps get things moving internally
🛁 PEGs – moisture holders and texture smoothers. Found in creams and colon preps.
🌿 Castor bean oil – rich in ricinoleic acid, famous in both laxatives and lip care
🌰 Jojoba oil – indigestible ester that can have a laxative effect, but also an oil that mimics skin’s own sebum + regulates moisture like a pro.
🧂 Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) – draws water in, reduces swelling, great for muscle recovery…and clears you out.
🪔 Mineral oil – old-school occlusive. Locks in hydration on your skin, and in higher doses? A classic OTC laxative.

✨ Same ingredients. Different aisle.
Hydration is hydration, from face to your tummy 💧

🌺 Hibiscus: don’t just drink it, wear it on your skin!

Hibiscus isn’t just pretty, it’s pretty functional.

The calyx (which protects the flower!) is packed with:

✨ Anthocyanins – antioxidants that fight skin stress

💦 Betaine – helps your skin hold water (hello, hydration)

🧪 Organic acids – gently brighten & exfoliate

182 beauty brands. Just 7 parent companies.
It sounds scary, but is it really all bad?

Sure, consolidation can mean less variety and more recycled formulas. But it also brings global access, better safety standards, and serious R&D power.

The real trick? Don’t shop based on brand names. Shop based on ingredients, formulas, and performance.

Because behind the shelf, the real hero is you, the informed consumer.

A fun term we use in skin care is #heroingredients . We use this to describe multifunctional products that offer a lot of value, or products that offer multiple claims.

So I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce that terminology, but also offer a little fun spin on it!
