Our Brody’s Blessings care packages are packed with love and intention for a family navigating canine cancer.

Our boxes typically include treats and toys to spoil the dog, a meal for a family, and a handwritten note to remind them that they are not walking this journey alone.

These boxes are built from things that were given to Brody and his family when he was going through his cancer journey. They are meant to honor his legacy and by showing up for families during some of their hardest days.

Because everyday moments matter.

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. 🌈🐾

Today we remember the dogs who came into our lives, changed them forever, and left far too soon. The ones whose names we still say, whose pictures still fill our phones, and whose favorite things we still notice.

Everyday Feathers Foundation exists because of one of those dogs. And while EFF began with Brody’s story, today we hold space for all of them. 🌈

Just a few thoughts from a morning walk. Something that we do… everyday. And just had me thinking about everyday moments.

Everyday moments is one of the key things that the Everyday Feathers Foundation focuses on. We want to hold space for people where they’re at, usually in a time of heartache with their dogs, but being mindful that all the moments matter.

Hug your dog. Enjoy the sunrise. Take pause. And have a beautiful weekend!

A Brody’s Blessings Box request came in over the holiday weekend. While I was away with family, we spent today gathering everything needed to let a family know they are not alone.

My nieces wanted to help; she picked out the card and chose an Eeyore toy for the dog—her own special touch. She wrote the message inside, and together both of the girls helped pack the entire box.

Moments like these are what the Everyday Feathers Foundation is all about. It is for bringing kindness, encouragement, and hope to families navigating a canine cancer diagnosis, but also showing the next generation that even the smallest acts of compassion can make a meaningful difference.

I hope this box reminds one family they’re not walking this journey alone. Thank you for being part of this mission.

4/14: Brody would have turned 14 today 💛🐾

As most dogs are to thier people, he brought love and joy to us everyday. In his honor, we’re starting something simple…14 for Brody.

We’re looking for 14 people to give $14/month to support our Brody’s Blessings—care and comfort for families navigating a cancer diagnosis with their dog.

Because I know how much those moments matter. And to the families that have gotten a care package, it reminds them that everyday moments matter too🤍

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re pausing with full hearts to reflect on what this year made possible and reflecting on the love, resilience, and small acts of kindness that make a big difference.

This year we:
✨ Launched Everyday Feathers
🐾 Hosted our first dog walk fundraiser
🎉 Showed up at community events
🤍 Introduced Brody’s Blessings care box initiative
🏥 Partnered with Community Veterinary Clinic in Vero Beach to support families facing canine cancer
🤝 Built meaningful connections through networking and community outreach

What started as a labor of love continues to grow because of you. We are so grateful for all the support as we got started this year! We have big plans for 2026 and looking ahead to help more people and grow our mission is exciting for our team.
