Success is not an accident. Show up and let’s go chase greatness.

Mike has been one of the most consistent workers this past off season. When I see the highlights, it doesn’t surprise me. Let’s go bro. Keep your foot on the gas 🧃

Athlete:
DC Fonua @dcfonua

American Fork HS / RB / 2027

Proud of DC! It’s been so cool to see his journey and to be a resource as he’s consistently pushed towards his goals. He has earned the right to shine and continues to show up and earn it. Glad we got to see a little taste of what you can do last Friday.

Some things I love about DC’s game is that he’s dynamic. He can line up and run physical between the tackles and get the ugly 5 if needed. Or he can stretch the field and out run defenders angles. He’ll also make you miss in a phone booth. He has elite feet. DC is a great route runner and can go get the ball. He’s worked hard on his pass protection and is great and not catching blitzing defenders and being physical with chip blocks.

We got a lot more to prove but we are on the right track. Excited to see the show he puts on the rest of the season! 🍿🍿

Athlete Spotlight:
Beckham Curtis @beckhamcurtis26
Orem HS @orem.tigersfootball
Class of ‘27 - RB

Im excited to spotlight my dog! We’ve been working for a while now and have stacked a lot of days on the field together. The development I’ve seen in him has been amazing. Beckham has great feet. He can find the seam and set up his lanes. He can get on a defenders toes and make them miss. He has the speed to separate in space. He’s not afraid to lower his pads and find the ugly 4-5 yards if it’s needed. He’s a very capable route runner with reliable hands. He has a natural feel for the field and has a nose for green grass. He’s able to set up his cuts very naturally and forces bad angles for the defense. He has great football IQ. He can pass protect with physicality and technique. He’s an ultimate competitor and a great leader and plays with a chip on his shoulder.

I always like to highlight other trainers that I’m aware of these athletes putting work in with and I know he’s put in a ton of work with Coach Jay Fanaika @fanaika_training to get stronger and faster.

S/o to my boy! Keep showin up and showin out! 📈

Real work, real results. So many more clips that could’ve been added to this short highlight. I love seeing hard work and preparation meet opportunity. It’s beautiful.

Keep grindin! One game at a time, one practice at a time, one drill at a time, be great!
