Should you brush your hair wet or dry? Both are right, it just depends on what you’re trying to achieve.

Wet: apply a leave-in conditioner or hair oil to damp hair first so the brush glides through and you’re not pulling.

Dry: hair is at its strongest, so brushing smooths the lengths and spreads your natural oils for shine.

Coco goes everywhere with us, so his car safety matters to us. 🐾

After having to pull over more than once because Coco got tangled in his car leash, I knew we needed a better solution for car rides.

How to stop overthinking things you can’t control: I’m reprogramming a limiting belief with one sentence.

This morning a mindset podcast reminded me that a limiting belief is just a thought you’ve repeated until it feels true. So I picked a new one: “I don’t have to control everything to be okay.”

I’m bad at being consistent with hair masks. Then I kept seeing my hair all over my white kitchen tile and my ends felt thinner. So I’m making this my new fall/winter commitment. 🤍

My DIY deep conditioning mask:
3 tbsp conditioner or hair mask
1 tbsp hair oil
1 tbsp lukewarm water

Mix until creamy, work through mid-lengths to ends, cover with a shower cap for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse.

Heading up north this Thanksgiving? Add this lookout to your weekend.

Devil’s Glen Provincial Park is a short walk to the viewing platform and the views are nice, especially with the fall colours. It’s not worth the drive on its own, but if you’re already near Collingwood or Blue Mountain, it’s an easy stop.
