One thing healing taught me is that love stopped looking so rigid to me. I became more open to connection, energy, intention, laughter, depth…. And honestly? Exploring that publicly in such a fun, chaotic, hilarious environment was an experience I’ll never forget 😂🎈

I had SO much fun filming this. The conversations, the backstage moments, the nerves, the laughs, the unexpected connections… all of it reminded me that healing can look joyful too.

✨ Forty, Free, and Full of Gratitude ✨

This season has been one of the most beautiful chapters of my life. I’m so thankful to God… and to the universe… for allowing me to see 40. 🌞

I couldn’t have made it here without my family, my tribe, and my community. You’ve held me down, lifted me up, and reminded me who I am. Coming back home to California and starting a new life has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself!!!

I’m grateful for the growth… emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially. I’m happy because I CHOOSE to be happy. There were moments in my life when I truly didn’t know if I’d make it, and I’m proud to say that I did. 🙏🏽

To my friends, my family, my tribe, and my community…. thank you for being there, for celebrating me, and for reminding me how loved I am. This birthday has been everything I needed and more!!

And here’s to new journeys, new energy, and new blessings on the road ahead. ✨ 🚗🍊Because even when transitions happen, a loss is never a loss… it’s redirection. I’ll keep choosing peace, purpose, and the best version of myself, one mile, one lesson, and one blessing at a time. 🥂

40 + 1.

Every year around my birthday, I usually choose a word, a color, or something that represents what I want to focus on for the next year of my life.

This year, my word is INTENTIONAL.

Intentional about my time. My money. My business. My health. My friendships. My relationships. My future. EVERYTHING.

I’ve spent enough time going with the flow, entertaining situations that weren’t going anywhere, and allowing people access to me simply because THEY wanted it. (Kind of weird to admit that out loud, but it’s true.)

I have a business to grow, an education to finish, goals to accomplish, and a life that requires my full attention. I cannot afford to keep making decisions that don’t align with the future I say I want.

That doesn’t mean every moment has to be planned or that life won’t surprise me. It means I’m going to be a lot more deliberate about the choices I make and the company I keep.

No more accidentally ending up in situations I knew better than to entertain. No more confusing being available with being accessible. And definitely no more wasting time that I can’t get back.

41 isn’t about reinventing myself. It’s about being more intentional with the woman I’ve already become.

I realized today that I reopened my salon 11 years and ONE DAY after opening my very first one. 🥹

And whew… realizing that brought up some feelings.

There’s something to be said about how people show up for your first beginning versus your next one.

I’m gonna talk about it tomorrow. 🖤

I MADE THE TEAM!!!! 😭💜🩷📣

I am SOOOOO happy and proud to officially be a part of @scecheer !

This decision meant more to me than just choosing where I wanted to cheer. I wrestled with being loyal to people and places that weren’t necessarily loyal to me… versus going where my spirit and soul felt supported, calm, welcomed, and at peace.

And I chose PEACE. 💜

I’m so excited to start this new journey with SCE, to learn, to grow, and to build on the little bit of cheer knowledge I’ve picked up along the way. I’m ready to be further coached, challenged and to see just how much better I can get.

And can we talk about the fact that I’m starting my 3rd SEASON OF CHEER AFTER TURNING 40s!! 😭📣

Because apparently adulthood is NOT where the fun ends. I’m still trying new things. Still finding new passions. Still making new friends. Still putting bows in my hair. Still showing up in pink Chucks. Still doing shit that makes me HAPPY.

Cheers to Season 1 w/SCE. 🩷💜🥂
Cheers to choosing peace.
Cheers to new beginnings.
And cheers to the fact that I’m about to SLAY in my 2 least favorite colors! 😭💜🩷
