A little reintroduction as I try to push into 18K 🤗

Hi, I’m Emili! Around here you’ll find seasonal recipes, sweet treats a’plenty and probably a trip to Goodwill somewhere in the mix. If you love baking from scratch, decorating for every season, nostalgic ideas and finding joy in the little things, I think you’ll fit right in.

Now tell me one random fact about you in the comments. I’d love to get to know everyone a little better!

Halloween just got WAYYY more fun 🧛🏻‍♀️🩸 two flavors, one Ninja Slushi and the cutest spooky drinks for Halloween night!

If you’re looking for easy Halloween party drinks, spooky Halloween recipes or a fun Halloween drink idea for your halloween gatherings, save this double slushi recipe! The vampire blood and ghostly cream combo is such a fun addition to a Halloween party, movie night or spooky season celebration.

1/4 cup grenadine
Honey + red food coloring for the rim

Officially halfway through October and I needed some pumpkin spice in my life! 🍂

It hasn’t quite felt like fall around here yet so I’m doing my best to romanticize the season a little extra. Give me pumpkin patches, cozy little outings and all the fall things while we wait for the weather to catch up🤎

Anyone else still trying to get into the fall spirit this year?!

A few days in Clearwater celebrating a whole decade together with endless frozen drinks, slow mornings, spa time, dinners by the water and nowhere we needed to be. Pizza night but make it spooky!!! I used refrigerated pizza crust and cut out little pumpkins and ghosts, then let everyone decorate their own with pizza sauce, cheese and their favorite toppings. It’s such an easy way to get the kids involved in dinner without making a whole production out of it!

I’m a millennial, of course I took immense pride in collecting gold stars in elementary school… and then absolutely refused to use the stickers because WHAT IF I NEEDED THEM LATER? 😂

The easiest Halloween dessert board that looks way more impressive than it actually is 👻🕸️🤍

I made a simple buttercream, spread it right onto my charcuterie board in the shape of a ghost, added little eyes + a mouth with black icing and then surrounded him with all my favorite Halloween sweets. Candy corn, Nilla Wafers, Golden Oreos, pumpkin cookies, sugar cookies, white chocolate Reese’s… basically, anything sweet goes.

You could make this for a Halloween party, girls’ night, a Halloween movie night or just a fun little spooky treat for the family.
For the easiest buttercream:
1/2 cup softened butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 to 2 tbsp milk
Beat the butter until fluffy, then slowly add the powdered sugar. Mix in the vanilla and enough milk to get a smooth, spreadable consistency. That’s it! And if you don’t feel like making buttercream, grab a tub of your favorite premade icing - or even cheesecake - and call it a day 👻
