You asked for it... the flip flop is back. 😂

There’s a running joke in our house that my homemade pistachio pesto is so good, you could eat it on a flip flop. And if you know my husband, you know he’ll commit to the bite.

So here we are, testing the theory for a second time. (Don’t worry, the flip flop was clean and lined with parchment paper!)

This is what marriage is, right? Finding someone who not only tolerates your crazy ideas but licks the pesto off the parchment paper when you’re done. 🩴

Want the recipe for the infamous “flip flop” pesto? Let me know in the comments and I’ll send it your way!🌿 #husbandandwifehumor #homemadepesto #pestorecipe #healthyrecipes #madefromscratch by @everythingnicewithlife

“The honest truth? I didn’t start this business to be glued to my phone. I started it so I could spend more mornings in my kitchen and more afternoons in the dirt. 🌿

For a long time, I felt like I was failing because I couldn’t ‘keep up’ with the noise. Then I realized I didn’t need to work harder; I just needed a better system.

The Red Standard is how I plan my content, organize my thoughts, and stay present with my family all at once. It’s not about doing more—it’s about doing what matters so you can go back to living your life.

If you’re tired of the guessing game, let’s fix that. Click the link in my bio to see the system I’m using, or comment SYSTEM and I’ll send you the details.” 💫

Someone in my comments asked how old I was when I got married, and I was 48 when I married the love of my life. So many of you also shared that your waiting season feels especially heavy right now. Your age does not put an expiration date on your prayers, and waiting for the right person is worth every single year.

I know how hard it is when everyone around you seems to be moving into that chapter while you are still praying for your turn. It is easy to wonder if you missed your window or if your life is stuck on pause until he arrives. Feeling tired in the wait makes complete sense when you have a good desire on your heart.

Sitting in the car with my husband for a quick lunch kiss at work last week reminded me why holding out for a kind, 🌿loving marriage matters so much. Me moving to Louisiana and building our life together has been sweeter than anything I could have rushed into earlier. If you want prayer for your waiting season today, leave a comment or send me a message so I can pray for you by name. #christianmarriage #faithandmarriage #godlymarriage #waitingseason #prayingformyhusband by @everythingnicewithlife

These worn-out pages hold years of conversations I thought only God would ever hear.

When you wait to get married later in life, the hardest part is the quiet. Wondering if you missed something, or if your desires even matter.

This journal and this book gave me a place to put that ache every single morning. They taught me to stop praying out of fear and start anchoring myself in truth.

To every woman who left a heart on my last post: I am still praying over your names.

I put the title of the book in the top comment below for anyone needing some guidance in their quiet time right now.

What is the hardest part of waiting for you right now? Let me know, and I will keep praying with you. 🌿

There was a season where I truly wondered if I had missed my turn.

Waiting to get married later in life was hard. It meant trusting through quiet years while watching everyone else move ahead.

Standing in this kitchen with Alan, I get it now. The peace of being with the right person was worth every single prayer.

If you are currently in that waiting season and feeling discouraged, you are not forgotten.

Drop a heart ❤️ below or leave your first name. I will personally add your name to our pray jar. We pray each night for the names and request in the jar. 🫙 #waitingseason #prayingforahusband #marryinglaterinlife #christianencouragement by @everythingnicewithlife

Most skincare bottles you pick up are 70% plain tap water.

Water and oil do not mix on their own. In standard formulas, companies have to use heavy chemical emulsifiers just to keep the water and oil bound together in the bottle. Those emulsifiers end up stripping your skin barrier over time.

That is why an emulsion rooted in fresh botanical cell juice is totally different.

Instead of cheap water, every drop starts with bioactive olive leaf cell elixir. It creates a natural, nourishing emulsion that feeds the skin instead of drying it out.

Your skin recognizes real plant energy immediately. No fillers, no chemical binding agents fighting your natural barrier.

Comment EMULSION below and I will send you the breakdown of how waterless botanicals actually transform your skin at the cellular level. #waterlessbeauty #oliveleafextract #cellularskincare #lowtoxliving #organicskincare by @everythingnicewithlife

I spent a lot of years wondering if my timeline was broken.

Then came packing up my life in the Pacific Northwest, moving down to Texas then Louisiana, and marrying the love of my life late. Planting new herbs in Southern dirt and learning how to build a simpler, peaceful rhythm from scratch.

The hardest part was never the move. It was letting go of the quiet belief that the best chapters had to happen early.

You are never late to what is meant for you.

Not in love. Not in learning how to nourish your body and your skin. Not in building a quiet life that actually feels good on the inside.

You are not behind. You are just arriving at the parts you were finally ready for.

Save this for the days you start second-guessing your timing, or drop a ❤️ if you are walking through your own fresh start right now. 🌿 #lifeafter40 #womenover40 #freshstart #marriedlife #aginggracefully by @everythingnicewithlife

Most luxury skincare comes in a heavy glass bottle, smells expensive, and lists water as the very first ingredient.

Plain water.

When a formula is mostly water, it evaporates off your face. It also requires heavy preservatives just to sit on a store shelf without growing mold.

We do things entirely differently.

Instead of watered-down filler, our base is 100% active olive leaf cell elixir. Packed with antioxidants, pressed straight from ancient mountain groves, and bottled without unnecessary additives.

Your skin knows the difference between a product designed to sit on a retail shelf and one crafted to actually nourish your skin barrier.

If you have been wanting to clean up your bathroom counter with formulas that actually deliver, you get a full 365 days to try it on your own skin completely risk-free.

Comment OLIVE below and I will send you the details to look through. 🌿 #cleanbeautyrevolution #holisticskincare #maturewomenbeauty #skinbarrierrepair #waterlessbeauty by @everythingnicewithlife

I may not have babies in the house, but this jar sits right on my vanity.

Zinc is one of the gentlest physical shields you can give your skin barrier against daily sun and irritation. Most lotions dilute zinc with water, which means extra preservatives and that chalky, drying feel.

Because this uses pure olive leaf elixir as the base instead of plain water, it melts right over my morning skincare without pilling. Calming, protective, and completely clean.

(And yes, mamas, if you do have little ones at home, this clean zinc formula is pure magic for calming and healing delicate baby skin without the synthetic junk.)

Most people only treat the surface, then wonder why the plumpness fades by noon.

Topical waterless formulas protect and seal your barrier. Internal olive leaf elixir floods your cells from within. When you pair them together, your skin stops fighting for moisture.

Comment DUO and I will send you the daily breakdown.

Check your bathroom counter right now. Flip your serum or moisturizer over and look at the very first ingredient.

Nine times out of ten, it says “Aqua.”

That means you are paying for up to eighty percent plain water, preservatives to keep that water from spoiling, and only a tiny drop of the actual active ingredients your skin needs.

I stopped buying watered-down bottles and switched to a waterless routine that replaces plain tap water with bioactive olive leaf elixir. That change alone completely transformed my skin texture and glow over forty.

Drop the word NOURISH in the comments, and I will send you the exact routine I use.
