730 : The Boogeyman

The Boogeyman’s WWE career was never defined by championships or in ring accolades. In fact, despite competing in only around 25 televised matches during his original run, he never captured a title or became a major fixture in the championship picture.

But that was never really the point.

From the smashed clock to the face paint, terrifying entrance and, of course, the worms, The Boogeyman created one of the most unique characters WWE has ever produced. He may not have achieved much statistically inside the ring, but his ability to make every appearance memorable ensured that nearly two decades later, The Boogeyman is still impossible to forget and I’m sure a couple of you may be mad at this ranking.

731 : Isla Dawn

Isla Dawn’s talent in the ring was undeniable, but connecting with the WWE audience always proved to be a difficult hurdle.
Her biggest career highlights came alongside her tag team partner, Alba Fyre. The pair captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver after defeating Fallon Henley and Kiana James, before pulling off a massive, unexpected victory on the main roster. At Clash at the Castle in Scotland, they pulled off a major upset in a triple threat match against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in front of a home crowd.
Despite those championship reigns, the character momentum never fully resonated on a broader scale with the WWE universe. Following her departure from the company, her career path transitions back to the regional and independent circuit.

Paul Heyman’s WWE Hall of Fame induction is well-earned, yet his in-ring résumé remains one of the most overlooked chapters of his career.

Across the archived footage, he competed in just 32 matches for the company ( 8 being televised) the majority of them handicap bouts designed to generate heat while protecting bigger stars.

Some of his best in ring work includes the 20 minute handicap WWE Championship match at Rebellion 2002, a steel-cage loss to Brock Lesnar on SmackDown, and the Hell in a Cell handicap match at the 2013 PPV. From tag-team appearances alongside Lesnar in 2002 to multi-man encounters with Ryback and Curtis Axel a decade later, Heyman’s ring work was never about athletic showcases but about storytelling and sacrifice.

Thirty-two matches. Maximum impact. Pure professional. (And if this were a managerial / overall WWE personality ranking, he would be very close to if not number one.)

733 : James Ellsworth

It all started with AJ Styles and somehow, Ellsworth became a genuine problem for “The Phenomenal One.”

With Dean Ambrose as the special guest referee, Ellsworth shocked everyone by pinning Styles, the reigning WWE Champion in his very first night. He then beat Styles again the following week, this time by disqualification, before eventually earning himself a WWE contract.

From there, Ellsworth became one of SmackDown’s most recognizable comedy acts, turning his unlikely WWE run into something far bigger than anyone expected.

His partnership with Carmella became a major part of his story, including helping her win the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He continued popping up in major SmackDown storylines for maybe a little too long but still made some very memorable moments.

Ellsworth was never supposed to be the serious threat he was the underdog, the punchline and somehow, occasionally, the guy who beat the champ.

Love him or hate him, he made himself unforgettable. And to be honest I don’t even think he was originally meant to be around for more than a couple weeks.

From a one night opponent for AJ Styles to a WWE contract holderJames Ellsworth really made the most of his moment.

734 : Kaval

Kaval, better known to many as Low Ki, arrived in WWE after already establishing himself as one of the most respected names on the independent scene, with standout runs in Ring of Honor and TNA.

He competed on Season 2 of NXT with LayCool as his mentors, but sparked controversy by referring to TNA as “Total Nonstop Action” in a promo. A moment many fans believe hurt his push before it ever truly began.

Despite his undeniable talent, Kaval competed in just 17 televised main roster matches, most memorably lasting five minutes against Big Show to earn a spot on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, only to have the opportunity taken away later that same night. He also delivered a highly underrated Intercontinental Championship match against Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series before being released in 2011, bringing a disappointing end to a guy who honestly could have been a star in the company.

735 : Kona Reeves

spent the next seven years competing exclusively on the NXT brand. Portraying the cocky “The Finest” character, Reeves shared the ring with names including Aleister Black, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, Karrion Kross and Dominik Dijakovic throughout his run. While he never captured championship gold, he became a familiar face on NXT television, regularly testing himself against many of the brand’s top stars during one of its strongest eras.

After seven years with the company, Reeves was released by WWE in August 2021, bringing his NXT and WWE career to an end.

736 : Lince Dorado

Lince Dorado spent several years in WWE after arriving through the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic, becoming best known as one third of Lucha House Party alongside Kalisto and Gran Metalik.

Throughout his run he competed across Raw, SmackDown and 205 Live, earning opportunities in both the Cruiserweight and Tag Team divisions. While he never captured championship gold in WWE, Dorado was a consistent part of the roster, showcasing his high-flying style before leaving the company in 2021. Since the WWE triple A buyout he has since come back and wrestled a couple matches in NXT but I’d imagine that’s the most we see of him.

737 : Gran Metalik

Gran Metalik spent five years in WWE after arriving through the Cruiserweight Classic in 2016. While he never reached the top of the card, he became a familiar face across Raw, SmackDown and 205 Live. He was best known for teaming with Lince Dorado as part of Lucha House Party, bringing plenty of fast-paced action to the tag team division. Although championship success never really came, he put on some fun matches.

738 : Michael Tarver

Michael Tarver’s WWE run was short, but he’ll always be remembered as one of the original members of Nexus. After debuting as part of the groundbreaking faction in 2010 didn’t get the longest run with the company and probably achieved the least out of the other Nexus members. He would only have 32 matches with the company but is still definitely a recognisable face, Tarver was written off television following an injury and quietly released later that year. Despite his brief time with WWE, being part of the first Nexus lineup ensured he’ll always have a place in WWE history.

739 : Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny made a memorable impact during his time in WWE, embracing the business far beyond a typical celebrity appearance. Across several high-profile matches, he showcased surprising commitment and athleticism, picking up notable victories while sharing the ring with some of WWE’s biggest names. Although his in-ring career was brief, he proved to be a successful crossover attraction who exceeded expectations whenever he competed but it’s still hard to rank him high cause many won’t consider him a proper wrestler and more of a special guest.

740 : Earl Hebner

One of the most trusted referees in WWE/WWF history, but his role occasionally went beyond officiating. Throughout the Attitude Era and into the Ruthless Aggression period, Hebner was routinely assigned to WWE Championship matches, WrestleMania main events, and the most storyline-sensitive finishes involving names like Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, and The Undertaker.

On rare occasions, Hebner even stepped into sanctioned competition himself. Most notably, he competed against The Rock on Monday Night Raw in 2000, a match that ended via disqualification — technically giving Hebner a win over the future Hall of Famer. He was also involved in occasional tag and special-appearance matches tied to ongoing storylines, further blurring the line between official and on-screen.

741 : Nick Patrick

During his time in WWF/WWE, Nick Patrick wasn’t just a referee — he occasionally stepped into the ring himself. He competed in referee-focused matches, most notably against Earl Hebner, playing into authority and officiating storylines of the era. While his primary role remained officiating, those appearances added a unique wrinkle to WWF/WWE programming at the time.
