september wrap up 🍯🍄

another month, another wrap up 🙂‍↕️ i once again forgot to put ratings. and yes, i could fix it. however, i simply don’t want to. what i did put is a tbr checklist, and i feel like that evens out, doesn’t it? well it does cause i said so!

overall i’d say it’s been a solid reading month… i’ve had a few disappointments (trust fall i’m looking at you. i’m still bitter over it.) i’ve also officially moved and gone back to uni this month, so it’s been… eventful. and stressful. but we’re pushing through!!!

and another month is gone!!! this is crazy!!!! but this also is my favorite time of the year, and i’m ready for the coziest time 🙂‍↔️ it’s not cold enough for sweaters yet, and it’s irritating me!!! i can’t wait 😮‍💨 anyway, hope everyone had a great month, and wishing for an even better one next 🤎

since audiobooks have made up a huge percentage of my reading lately, i thought why not make this a monthly thing 🙂‍↕️ …or at least until i forget!

silver sweet easily is one of my favorite books of the year, no questions. i have yapped about it enough for everyone to know just how much i loved it, and how much it meant to me 🥹

don’t you just love a good color stack moment? cause i sure do 🙂‍↔️ this time i only added books that still are on my tbr… and it’s not even all of them 🫠 im always surprised by just how many pink books are out there… but i sure seem to love them!!

out of all of these, i would say as of right now hello beautiful and phoebe berman’s gonna lose it are the ones i’m most excited for, and i can definitely see myself reaching for them soon!! 🙂‍↕️

what i read in a week 📖

decided to document my last week of freedom as it is back to uni for me today 🫡 i even added some stats… don’t know why. but i always find them interesting when i see them. so, they’re there.

it has been an intense week, and as always audiobooks were my biggest friends. also, i do listen to most of them on 3.5x, usually. the pages are a really rough estimate, since basically all of my kindle reads only show me locations and i have no clue what that translates to 🙄 rating-wise… it’s also been tough 💔 but i’m currently reading the burning side and it’s making it all worth it… oh so worth it!!!

happy ryke & charlie & beckett day to those who celebrate!!! (me)

there’s a lot going on over in addictedverse today and i just had to throw a quick something together for those three 🙂‍↔️ the twins being born on ryke’s birthday will forever be one of my favorite things ever 😭

i love and miss ryke dearly, and i am SOOOO excited for the day we finally get charlie & beckett’s books… can’t wait to finally be let in on all that mind-reading they do with each other so i can feel like part of the team!!! by @eves.readingcorner

hello? is this even a thing anymore? i’m not sure, but i used to love seeing this around, and free will is a thing, so… i’m bringing it back!!! and honestly guys, i’ve been on time on so many trends lately, it was never gonna last 🙂‍↔️

as usual, i am here to complain about it even though i still willingly did it. why is picking books for it so hard, honestly 😫 i feel like i always end up choosing the same ones, so i tried branching out a little? i think i did at least?? 😭 anyway, i’ve been all over the place with moving and all so i should be excused i think 🙂‍↔️

september is suicide prevention month

i’ve bern sitting on this one for a bit, because opening up always feels a little scary, but this is a topic i hold near and dear to my heart, and that i think it’s important to talk about.

all my life, i can’t really remember a day there hasn’t been something off. just a little voice in the back of my head. no matter how happy i was, how good of a day i had, it never truly went away. a little thought that maybe it would be better if i wasn’t here at all.

and it has always been so hard to deal with, and it always felt so isolating. having a diagnosis didn’t necessarily help. not at first, at least. it made it feel more real, and with that, scarier. sometimes it just felt like too much to carry— and at times it still does.

there’s no magic cure, and there still are dark days, i won’t lie, but it does get better. it took me years, and a lot of time spent working on myself to get to a point where it feels manageable. and most importantly, to let of the shame i carried for it.

which now sounds just so silly to me. what even is there to be ashamed about? we’re all just living, doing our best. that’s already something to be proud of.

i’ve always found comfort in media, especially books, and these are some of those who have helped me most through the years. there are so many more, but if i started, i would never stop.

if you got to this point, i want to thank you.

and i also want you to know you are so loved, and so incredibly appreciated. please never forget that. remember it’s okay to not be okay all the time. it’s okay to be scared. it’s okay to reach out and ask for help. know i am always here for anything you might need, always 🫂💙 by @eves.readingcorner

hello fall!!! 🍂☕️

oh guys i felt a breeze in the air today… we’re so back 🙂‍↔️ i can’t wait to sit down with my hot chocolate and my fuzzy socks and my comfy blankets and read my books while it rains outside

and here are some of the books i’d love to get through in the next few months!! honestly, i’ve been waiting for the right mood to strike to pick these up, and it’s finally here. i can feel it. it’s their time to shine (maybe?) 🙂‍↕️

i don’t know if it’s just me, but today feels particularly blue 🫠 im really struggling to get anything done. and also, it’s still too hot to function and i don’t like that, cause i’m already in a fall mindset 😭
