Feeling so chuffed and grateful to be showing Awn as part of the @takemeapart2025 exhibition at @themountwithout_events , in the crypt.

Thank you soo much to everyone who came along to the opening yesterday!!! It was so lovely to share the space with so many kind and talented people.

Project Awn is a personal reflection on transference. An awn is a small bristle that attaches itself to seeds in order to help them travel to new locations - a quiet process of holding, releasing and reshaping.
My paintings look at the impossibility of carrying the pain of those closest to me and all my love that sits within it.
They share what emerges afterwards, a place I am waiting in. How I hold and carry what isn’t mine, how closeness and distance keep shifting, and how my love reshapes itself when it can’t be received in the way it longs to.

The exhibition is open until the 12th of November so come and see it if you can!🥰 by @evesieart
