Happy moms raise happy kids. Period.

Good thing moms don’t have to lose themselves to be good moms.

Taking care of myself makes me more patient, present, and grounded.

Loving yourself doesn’t mean you love your kids less.

Take that hour. The kids will be fine 😌

One month post tummy tuck 💫 and zero regrets!

This was my last core day a few days before my surgery. I wanted to make sure my core was strong because it would make my recovery easier and faster - and I was right!

I’ve been training my core 3-4x a week consistently since I was 6 weeks post-partum with each of my 3 babies.

I had ab separation (diastasis recti) after 3 pregnancies in under 4 years and I did a lot of deep core work to get it healed.

But what I couldn’t fix with workouts and diet was the loose skin — so I decided to have surgery.

During my consultation with my surgeon, I discovered I had a remaining separation around my belly button causing an umbilical hernia. He told me this could get fixed during my tummy tuck surgery through muscle repair.

Looking back at the experience, would I do it again?

Absolutely 🙌🏻❤️

FACT: a tummy tuck isn’t a shortcut for weight loss 💫

It’s for removing excess skin that no amount of workouts or clean eating can change.
⠀
It’s actually best to do it once you’ve reached your ideal weight — after you’ve already done the hard work of getting healthy and strong. 💪
⠀
It’s not the easy way out — it’s the final step after consistency, healing, and self-care. ❤️

I am 6 weeks post-op and I can’t wait to share my results ☺️

Why do I have to stand around at kids gatherings pretending I’m enjoying myself?

Parks, school events, kids birthdays, etc.

They are booooooring and most parents look tired and bored AF 😂 by @evestagrm

“I don’t have time to work out.”

Trust me, I get it. Between raising three kids, work, endless to-do lists, and trying to keep everyone alive, fed, and somewhat happy… some days I barely have time to breathe. 😂

But here’s something I’ve learned: You don’t FIND time for yourself. You MAKE time. ❤️

And no, it’s not always easy. Some days I’m exhausted, unmotivated, and the last thing I want to do is drag myself to the gym.

But I’ve never regretted showing up.

Because fitness is about SO much more than looking good. It’s my therapy. My stress relief. My one hour where nobody needs a snack or yells “MOM!” for the 47th time. 😂

Working out doesn’t take away from being a good mom. It helps me BE a better mom.

A more patient mom. A happier mom. A stronger, healthier version of myself who can handle the beautiful chaos of life a little better.

And whether you’re a parent or not, here’s your reminder: Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. It’s necessary.

You don’t need a perfect schedule or endless motivation. Even 20 minutes counts. You just need to start making yourself a priority.

Because the people you love deserve the best version of you. And so do YOU. ❤️

To all the busy moms (and anyone juggling a million things), how do you make time for yourself? 👇 by @evestagrm

My entire feed is people doing calisthenics looking suspiciously lean, ripped and hot… so naturally I’ve been influenced. 😂

Week 1 of finding out if it’s the calisthenics or if my algorithm has been lying to me.

Anyone else recently get influenced into starting calisthenics? 😂

One year post tummy tuck 🤍

I worked hard for my body before surgery, and I still work just as hard today. My weight hasn’t really changed. My abs didn’t come from surgery. What changed was the one thing I couldn’t change in the gym — the extra skin left behind after three pregnancies.

A year later, I can confidently say I’d make the same decision all over again.

So grateful to @dr_ashley_tregaskiss and his incredible team for their work, care, and for giving me a result that still feels completely like me — just without the extra skin. 🤍 by @evestagrm

It’s easy to tell our kids to work hard, be disciplined, take care of themselves, keep trying, and do things that scare them.

But I’m realizing more and more that they’re learning far more from watching us than they ever will from listening to us.

They notice the things we make time for. How we handle hard days. How we speak to ourselves. Whether we give up when something is difficult. And even how we treat the people around us.

We’re teaching them all the time — even when we don’t realize it. ❤️
