This is my dad, one of the absolute most important people in my life.

Back in February, our quiet little family got some difficult news. My dad was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure and spent two weeks in the ICU. Since then, every day has felt like an uphill battle filled with doctor appointments and frequent hospital visits, lifestyle changes, and finding the strength to keep pushing through new challenges week after week.

Asking friends and family to donate a kidney is an enormous ask, so we won’t do that. But if you feel inclined to share his story or simply take a look at his donor page, it would mean more to us than you know.

Thank you for reading and for keeping him in your thoughts. ❤️

After 4 incredible years playing high school hockey with my 3 very supportive teams, I am excited to announce my commitment to lindenwood university where I will continue my academic and athletic career. A big thank you to my family who has been so dedicated and sacrificed so much for me to reach my goals today. I have so much gratitude for my teammates, coaches, and friends who have supported me all the way. After 4 amazing seasons I am honored to be able to enjoy 4 more! GO LIONS 🦁 by @evi_88888
