Introducing local superstar @evi_dj_. Before she takes over the decks at WAS. this Saturday, we asked her a couple of questions on her inspirations, the track she’s most excited to play, and the impact of queer nightlife.

Evi is playing at FLUID this Saturday. Final tickets via the 🔗 in our bio. by @evi_dj_

When your friend moves to Brussels it’s a good excuse to play a radio show, see some live bands, and go home with a shitload of geuze & records.

@gimic.radio was a wonderful experience, a great setup, super cute bar and sweet people. Since playing a lot of house lately I had to let out my bass side 😈 Ambient - dubstep - techno and all that in an atmospheric blender. Hope you like it <3

The big July dj-dump!
This was suuuuch an amazing month with so many cute friends and parties! Love you all💕
- BIG fun to close @dontmindthe___ , I could go wild with my more bass driven side, even put some of my fav dubstep and Mula & Antoon in the mix.
- b2b w @shana_lardinois for a dubby, housy hangout at @zora.utr was so nice 🍹
- @bushfunk.official had the best organised rave i’ve been to in a while. And had a blast b2b w @calvindmn finally reconnecting behind the decks
- @x3recordlabel in Doka, playing on that crystal clear soundsystem was a bliss💆🏼‍♀️💆🏼‍♀️
- @de_vrije_jongens brought back sunday funday♥️

Currently chilling with the ambient horses on the last slide ➡️, and can’t wait to share all the fun lined up for the coming months!!

A return to the opening hours of @fluid.utrecht 11.04. @evi_dj_’s set is now available on our SoundCloud. A patient build-up, deep grooves and the perfect way to ease into the night. by @evi_dj_

We’re heading to @nar.utrecht tonight for another UUUDITIONS and we thought we’d share some more insight into the roster:

@loise.dia
Back behind the decks at Don’t Mind The Gap is our own LIA.DIA! Without the constraints of genre borders she navigates through a wide range of percussive heavy records and soothing grooves 🐛

@evi_dj_
Happy to invite one of the driving forces of Het Complot and Clutch to UUUDITIONS: EVI. With each set, she seeks to create a playful exploration of contrast and flow where energy takes priority. While seamlessly moving between the both darker or warmer frequencies of house, electro, breaks and bass, there is always the element of surprise that keeps you on your toes 🩰

@gj_ando
The UK born, now Uutje based GJ Anderson will open up the floor the way he knows best: solid vinyl business. As a passionate record collector, George has compiled an extensive selection of the sickest house, UKG, grime and UK funky. Smoothly glued together with absolute style and over a decade worth over experience, it’s nothing short of a treat 💿

Be quick and reserve your free ticket through the bio 🎫 by @evi_dj_

Summer is here! We’re landing in @doka_amsterdam for the first time on the 11th of July together with XXX familiars @mikesacchetti all the way from Berlin and Utrecht’ own @evi_dj_ . Expect a night with sleazy left field disco to throbbing darker house sounds. Were taking you on a journey till the sun comes up. Artwork by buddy @floydvanjoost Hope to see you there. Pt II: Electro & Breaks
My second vinyl set from last month was for @_thefemdem_ at @open_source_radio. Since @livkuipers invited me for this show, I immediately wanted to gather all my breaky stuff 🤖

Thought it was a fun mix of classic electro, UK hardcore style breaks, and even some ghetto tech.

Full set up on Open Source’s Mixcloud! by @evi_dj_

Pt 1:
Did two radioshows this month, vinyl only! I was really feeling it to look through my records again, instead of even more screentime ✨

The first one at @future.intel was a deepdive into the more housy/deep side of my collection. Lots of techy wobblers I bought mostly during lockdown and even some ‘Trouw’ era tunes.

Full set on youtube and soundcloud!

(Pt 2 the electro/break one, will be up soon) by @evi_dj_
