MARANATHA 🕊️

Ghana, I will never be the same. Every time I try to find the right words, the more I realize that’s not possible. There are no words to describe what God did and is doing in Ghana. What I have to offer are the thoughts that linger and prayers that echo in my soul.

Jesus will tear down walls to reach His sons and daughters. The people of Ghana have captured my heart, and I am held captive by the Holy Spirit even days after returning home.

Christ is coming back and when He does He is going to bring justice to the afflicted and freedom for the enslaved. Never has the Great Commission been more urgent and real to me. Ghana has a hunger, a desperation for the Son!

His justice sweeps nations with the strength of the Lion.
His tender love is the purity of the Lamb that was slain.
The hearts of a people are awakening to the call of the Spirit.

Walking the streets Ghana reminded me how God doesn’t wait until you are ready, but rather will equip you as you walk in obedience. We ministered to vulnerable children, trafficked women, and addiction bound men…but their labels were not what we saw. Through the lens of the eyes of Jesus, I watched sons and daughters become captivated, comforted, and confronted by their Father.

There are countless stories I could tell, and what a blessing that is. If you would like to hear more about my time in Ghana, please reach out because I’d love to share :) by @evieksutton
