Steroid Era is my new 12-track project entirely produced by @c_lance_ . C-Lance and I both have a strong love for 90’s hip hop and baseball especially the “Steroid Era” a time back when a few legendary players took the game to new heights never seen before.

While writing these songs I found that baseball was a perfect metaphor for the high-pressure stakes of the music industry. It was in that frame work that I was able to explore themes like family, independence and the importance of being authentic in this manufactured world.

I wanted to write songs that would reflect my own struggles trying to persevere through all the years grinding in the shadows.

Steroid Era 💉⚾️ LPs in stock and upgraded to mystery mix colour. The one shown resembles bubblegum from a pack of trading cards

ABOUT: @evilebenezer returns with 💉⚾️ #steroidera, a 12-track project that masterfully uses baseball as a metaphor for the high-pressure world of the music industry. Produced entirely by @c_lance_ , the album serves as a cohesive narrative rather than a simple collection of songs, charting Evil’s journey from the reckless survival of his early years to a place of disciplined focus and personal growth. Throughout the project, he explores the grit required to overcome failure and the importance of staying authentic in a manufactured world, grounding his raw storytelling in themes of family, independence, and the resilience of a veteran who has spent years grinding through the shadows.

Life is wild. Here’s a commercial I did when I was 10 or 11. Still baseball, still making my art. One love to all my supporters!

Go check out the album.
