Mahalo Hawaii 🌺

It’s impossible to capture the incredible beauty of Hawaii in a handful of slides … it’s raw, vibrant and so, so alive. It’s unlike anywhere else on earth with its stunning blend of exotic landscapes and unique wildlife.

From lava spewing volcanos to luscious rainforests and waterfalls to coves where sea turtles find their sanctuary … the beauty is all around you everywhere you go!

From Big island to Maui this was a trip many years in the making … and the absolute highlight was finding myself swimming with a group of wild dolphins. Not in a tour, not on a paid activity just an impromptu meeting in the middle of the ocean. A magical moment I can hardly put into words and will stay with me forever.

The spirit of Aloha is bewitching and I only hope it continues to thrive in the face of adversity. taken in Maui, Hawaii by @evitamarisa

Postcards from Down Under 🇦🇺

Happy to report that all the good things I’ve ever heard about #TourDownUnder are true and it’s hands down one of the best stage-races I’ve experienced in my career 🧡

Witnessing and documenting the love of cycling in one of my favourite countries was truly unforgettable, thanks to the people and race organisers who bring this special event to life.

The racing was thrilling and the days simply too short to attend all the side events happening in Adelaide that well and truly make this race week one of a kind.

Sunrise runs along the Torrens river, coffee each am by the sweet barista Tony, reconnecting with old colleagues, exploring the Adelaide Hills and witnessing standout early season performances were some of the highlights of a lovely fortnite in South Australia.

Thank you Straya, you have my heart.

Jordan you were everything I ever dreamed of and more 💫

The breathtaking scenery, the warmth of the people, the silence of the desert, the history carved into the rock, the white saltiness of the lowest point on earth and the vibrant unexpected wonders of the Wadis. Truly a land of unparalleled beauty. Shukran الأردن 🇯🇴

Waterfall(ing) in love with Iceland 🇮🇸

The land of fire and ice where waterfalls roar, glaciers glow and every road leads to unspeakable beauty. The silver lining in a Summer of dark, heavy clouds.

Mountains mend. Trails heal. Nature always placates even the darkest corners of my mind ✨

This lovely view is from the last hike of a two week road trip from Arkansas to Arizona last March, crossing five states and multiple national parks. No photo can ever capture the beauty of the US wilderness and just how much raw nature has a way of fixing what life breaks. But I feel this one comes close.

In a country so brutally polarized and where discord and hate have become socially ingrained there is hope in seeing communities, made up of people with different political affiliations, unite to protect natural parks and the environment at large. Planet Earth doesn’t care for borders and doesn’t recognise flags. It’s a home for all. Protecting it such be an universal cause and climate action should be overwhelmingly bipartisan. The US is full of bewildering idiosyncrasies, and even if I have strong feelings about the convoluted path the country is currently on, I recall the beautiful words of a famed environmentalist, who once said:

“National parks are the best idea we ever had. Absolutely American, absolutely democratic, they reflect us at our best rather than our worst.”

In times when the “best” seems to be so out of focus and the “worst” beaming unapologetically, I cling to the hope that wonders of nature will unite what Man has separated.

Salamat po, Philippines 🇵🇭✨

I was 11 years old the first time I was in the Philippines. Safe to say both myself and the country have changed but two things remain the same: I’m still as in love with travelling and Philippines is still one of the most stunning countries in Asia.

Coron, El Nido, Cebu, Bohol and Siargao were all so unique and beautiful in their own way. From pristine canyons and waterfalls in the jungle to the most scenic lagoons and desert beaches .. there is so much beauty on offer everywhere you go and so many moments will live rent free in my memories forever💫 taken in Siargao Island, Philippines by @evitamarisa

As 2024 draws to a close, it’s time to close the chapter on two unforgettable years @q36.5_procycling ❤️

I’m deeply grateful to have been part of this exciting journey and will cherish the memories forever! From shared laughter to overcoming difficult challenges together, it was a privilege to meet and work with so many wonderful people. In a year of crushing personal loss, this team saved me in so many ways.

To all my teammates, especially the ones - you know who you are - who pushed me to join for that sunrise run, who made me the most delicious veggie meals, who put up with my effervescent temper and horrible singing, who laughed, who argued and who shared their knowledge with me: thank you 🫶

We weren’t a team because we worked together but because we trusted, respected and cared for each other. I hope you carry that rare bond into the new season and hope our paths cross again in the future!

To the riders, your passion and drive inspire everyone who watches you and I so often was moved beyond words to see how much you endured to make it to that finish line. I wish you all the best as pursue your dreams on and off the bike 🙌

To the sponsors, your unwavering support and loyalty made these two years of fighting against the odds possible. It was a pleasure to host you at races and share with you our love for the sport and the values we stood for.

To the incredible fans, that cheered and celebrated our team and riders throughout the ups and downs of our first two seasons on the road: you are legends! Sometimes, in the mayhem of the pro-cycling circus, we are guilty of not showing what your enthusiasm and support means to us. But it means the world 🙏

The mountains were calling 🇨🇦

Canada is vast. It’s also unbelievably beautiful with raw landscapes, that have you blinking in disbelief at every corner. It creates lots of space for ‘nothingness, with zero distractions. Just wide open spaces and empty legs. Which meant ample moments for memories to seep in. The days were few, but long and submerged in torrid temperatures. Bears, moose, deer and marmots become daily sightings and one feels so privileged to see these magnificent animals in the wild, where they belong. Lakes, and rivers, and waterfalls and canyons. They weave a turquoise tapestry through the mountains and connect glaciers to valleys. It’s a vibrant symphony of untouched cosmos. Hiking and biking and loosing yourself in nature, with no signal, spending your energy while recharging your soul is healing in so many ways. Even if it was just a few days. It was one from the bucket list and it literally filled my bucket 💫

Heartbreaking to think that some of the places that stunned my senses, like Jasper National Park, were consumed by massive wildfires just a few days later. The flames turned what once was green and thriving to dark ash. Hopefully, nature will find a way to heal from the devastation and flourish once again.

Someone once said: “Canada is free and freedom is its nationality.” I couldn’t agree more.

Throwback to a memorable 2023 season ✨

There are too many people to thank for such rewarding and unforgettable year (but you know who you are!) Starting a team anew brings many challenges and we certainly endured turbulent times but we held firm, united in the same vision for this amazing team and passion for this amazing sport.

We made mistakes but we also made magic and often punched well above our weight. In pro cycling we’re only as strong as the people that surround us, that empower us to be the best version of ourselves. And, thanks to the steady leadership of our skipper Doug Ryder, who put together an amazing group of individuals to join him on this adventure, we stayed the course, achieved many memorable milestones and even tasted victory.

I’m proud as punch to have seen the dedication and hard work of riders and staff alike pay off on many occasions. But I’m even more proud of the drive and determination shown when things weren’t going our way, how we rose up from setbacks.

As we prepare to embark on our second season here’s to many more achievements, more growth and more laughs.

It won’t be easy but - and I’m sure I speak for all my teammates- we’re up for the fight!

Hvala Montenegro 🇲🇪 💫

Taking a solo leap into the unknown often leads to the loveliest of destinations. “Lazy” Montenegro, you might be small in size but you’re full of heart and beauty. The photos don’t do you justice but your vast landscapes and quaint little towns are forever seared into my soul.

This is Guatemala 🇬🇹 … land of ancient Mayan cities, active volcanos, magical rainforests and amazing coffee! Where the explosion of colours in nature echoes in the architecture, the clothing, the rich gastronomy and the friendly smiles of the locals ✨

Guatemala was my 70th country and one I won’t easily forget. I got to hike an active volcano and saw one of the most stunning sunsets ever, kayak through tropical mangroves, bath in a thermal waterfall in the jungle and experience a bone chilling earthquake in the middle of the night. Forever thankful for the opportunity to travel and explore this beautiful planet of ours 💫

Gracias Guatemala 🫶
