Tinkerbelle (May 26, 2007 - November 18, 2025) 💔❤️‍🩹

Heartbroken is an understatement. Today we said goodbye to our sweetest little bean. Our Tink. Our Meow-Mix. Our Floor Shark.

She was the most beautiful cat, who had so much love to give (to those she chose), with a sassy side, ready to fight if and when the need arose. We are devastated to lose our baby, who was our entire world, and joy. The light when times were dark. Our little beanbop.

When I met Colby over 11 years ago, he told me they had a family cat named Tinkerbelle, and that she could be a bit mean, and did not like anyone beside him and his family. I told him near instantly “animals love me, she’s gonna love me”, and she did, the moment I met her she loved me.
And how serendipitous that me, a Disney lover, met my future husband, who had a cat named Tinkerbelle.

I am so incredibly grateful that I got to be in 11 of the 18.5 years she spent on this planet, and that she chose me as one of her companions. I am so grateful that when Colby and I moved back to the lower mainland, Tink made her home with us here in Burnaby. She loved our home. She loved the sunshine that streamed in, the fireplace, and our deck.

I will miss her little raspy meow, her rough licks, and her violent purrs. I will miss all the times she chased me around the house, attacked my arms, hid behind a door so I would play with her through the crack, or caught her doing a flip off a wall, or the time she ate a ribbon which nearly killed her, and every morning having her curl up next to me while I had my coffee.

You were so deeply loved Tinkerbelle, and now you can rest. We will miss you every day. by @evnkas
