First time doing her brows with me, she wanted to go thin but wasn’t 100% sure. So I recommended we play it safe! hugged and defined her shape, trimmed the fronts to give the illusion of thinner brows, we went with a hybrid tint to camouflage some sparse areas and the results 😮‍💨😮‍💨

We can always go thinner when she’s ready. 🥰
The goal is to do what’s best to keep the integrity of your brows because I can wax hair off but I can’t put it back instantly if you’re not feeling it 😅 I’ll always find the way to protect the integrity of your brows. That’s why my girls trust me.

Trimming before the procedure removes the very hairs needed to create that full, fluffy lift, often leaving sparse, uneven results. A choppy trim comes from trimming without direction the hairs get cut off with no plan for how they’ll lay.

I’m intentional with my trimming. I trim after the lamination, following the direction each hair will lay so it comes out clean and sharp instead of choppy🥹

Setting expectations before the appointment is part of protecting your results. 🤎

Before every brow wax, I always ask my clients about medications, skincare products and any recent treatments because these can make the skin more sensitive.

Skin lifting can happen from using retinol, acne treatment products, active breakouts, recent facials, chemical peels, certain medications, sunburn or naturally sensitive skin. Sometimes clients don’t know a product they’re using can affect their skin or simply forget to mention it.

That’s why I always take extra precautions while waxing. I use a technique that helps reduce the chance of lifting a full strip of skin because If skin lifting does happen, I’d rather it be a tiny spot than the entire brow area. I also send them home with a healing balm that helps the skin heal faster and prevent scarring.

Skin lifting can happen to any brow artist, taking extra precautions is part of protecting your client’s skin. 🤎

Here’s what to avoid BEFORE your appointment.
Your brow hairs and the skin around them need to be healthy for the service.

3 things to avoid before your brow lamination + bonus!

• Using retinol/ active skincare: Can make the skin more sensitive and prone to irritation/lifting of the skin during the service.

• Waxing, threading or trimming your brows: Freshly waxed or irritated skin needs time to recover and trimming can affect your final shape.

• Come with Irritated skin or sunburn: Lamination products can further irritate already sensitive skin.

• Have flaky or dry skin: Dry or compromised skin can be more sensitive to the products, which may cause stinging, redness or irritation.
