I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted anything about the Evo. Honestly, it had been rather discouraging until late. I'm just glad to finally be driving it again, consistently, without worry. We've had a few "bumps" along the road since the tune a few months ago, replaced a few parts thinking that would solve the issue and well, it took a lot of trial and error. But, I think we finally turned a corner! Runs smooth, no lag, no weird noises, tons of power (compared to bone stock before), idle could be better but that's always the case lol, check engine light still flickers sporadically (we'll get to the bottom of that eventually) but you know, all this reminded me tonight that "Life's too short to drive boring cars" and SH*T happens, so I really have no complaints! Had to replace the MAF this week, 19yrs on the original so it was time (going out and causing idle issues) --- changing this also played a part in the Evo finally getting tuned earlier this week! More details to follow.....✌🏽

MP installed these last TWO (hopefully🤞🏼) needed parts this week, the wastegate and the O2 housing‼️ I'm ready to get back on the dyno for my tune, but we're having a baby in 4 days (or less) so I'll have to wait until the following week as long as I get the OK from my wife 😜👌🏽

UPDATE: So last week didn't go exactly as planned, but it was a learning (first time) experience on the dyno! 🙌🏽 Everything was strong, but the fuel pump was faulty so we replaced it (Walbro 450)... and I could have gone through with the tune but decided against it because I also need an upgraded wastegate + O2 housing + bov (possibly)... so instead of tuning it twice, I'm going to install these parts and go back, soon! 🤞🏼
