Spring has sprung and the winter blues are finally dissipating ☀️🌺🌻 Walking and being outside have so many benefits for the body and mind and I love being able to do walk and talk sessions with my clients! Therapy can be intimidating, and doing therapy while walking allows us to hone into the things around us, divert some nervous energy, and help our body’s overall functioning!

What you want is already yours; you just have to BELIEVE it ✨ When we tell our brain something and truly believe it, we start to build new neural pathways to create our desired reality. Bring awareness to the daily messages you tell yourself and be sure to feed your brain positive and affirming words 🫶🏻

Choosing yourself first isn’t selfish, it’s sacred 🪷 You teach the world how to treat you by the way you treat yourself. So today, let self-love lead the way 🫶🏻

What’s one small way you can choose yourself today?

Growth takes time, be patient and have grace for yourself as you’re growing into someone you’ve never been before! Growth isn’t linear; it’s a journey with periods of progression, stagnation and even regression. Don’t give up, you’ve got this! 👏🏻🙌🏻🌱

BOUNDARIES - They are so important, but can be hard to implement, especially if you have never been taught to place them. For my people pleasers out there, I know boundaries can be especially tough. Boundaries empower us to state our needs and also feel safe and respected in relationships. They might seem scary at first, but just like anything, the more you place boundaries, the more comfortable and natural it will feel to do so 🌱

Let’s give a little love to ourselves! How we speak to ourselves is SO important, and a lot of the time we don’t even realize how harsh we are being 😢 Take a little time to show yourself some love today 🥰

Pro-tip: Put some affirmations on your bathroom mirror to be intentional about showing yourself love daily! 🫶🏻

Next time you’re in state of feeling anxious, overwhelmed or like everything is falling apart around you, pause and practice box breathing. This helps to activate our parasympathetic nervous system, which helps to bring our body back into balance by lowering heart rate and reducing cortisol. Think of it like hitting the reset button for your mind and body 🟦😌

Holding space, honoring your story, and walking with you as you come home to yourself — that’s what this work is all about. 🌱🫶🏻🌈

Toxic cycles and negative self-talk can be like quicksand, pulling you in deeper the more you fight it. But healing is possible. With time and care, the voice in your head can become softer, kinder, and even supportive. You are capable of rewriting the story and it doesn’t have to stay this way forever. 📖✨

What’s one kind thing you can say to yourself today?
