My recruitment career was a truly essential part of me being an Energy Healer. As I say here, there are no mistakes.

A very simple technique I learned to help me stay in the present moment and be thankful and grateful for everything on my plate during a meal.

For those of you who are interested, I attended the Gede Prama Meditation Retreat on The Healing Power of Compassion at the Brahmavihara Arama Temple, North Bali in 2013. It is a donation dependent organisation which I loved.

Here is a very honest account of the kind of things that come up for me. I am sure if these things come up for me then they also come up for many others out there.

Dealing with manipulative people has been a huge learning curve in my life and I have had much exposure to it. Most of the time, I knew full well I was being manipulated but felt paralysed to do anything about it. (I guess that is another video for another time.) But also interviewing thousands of people as a Recruiter trained me to sense this kind of behaviour a mile off!

So I have overcome it but there is some residual ill-feeling left inside of me from my childhood.

So for you, does this resonate? What do you deal with or what has come up for you recently? How do you manage these kinds of situations?

Who would have thought that the simple process of listening to your own heartbeat would bring so much joy!

Have a go if you feel this resonates.

My advice is to go into a very relaxed state, locate your heart if you don’t know exactly where it is, feel it out in your body and then tune in.

Believe in who you are. Come back into your strength. Ask for help and it will be given. Be open to listening and receiving.

To all of us who do the work. Who show up, who put in the effort even when we don’t want to. Take a moment now to look back and look at what you have learnt. What you have let go of. What boundaries you have put in. How you have dealt with your triggers. How you have changed in so many ways. And please, please, please, give yourself a huge pat on the pack.

This journey into our consciousness, this learning, the whole reason we are here in this school of life really is the Road Less Travelled. So if you are one to do the work and show up, then you must also reward yourself continually.

Welcome to the last day of February 2024! Extra special as it is a leap year.

When I was studying my Energy Healing Seikhem course in Mumbai, they taught about this “Just for today” phrase. My understanding is, that it is much easier when making changes, to chunk it down to making that change just for the day. If you could do it for the day, then you could do it for the next day, and then the next day and before you knew it, you are creating new habits and behaviours.

So today’s one of – Take some form of loving action towards yourself – is a great way to cultivate your Self Love. Remember, when you build a house, you start with one brick. Then you have a wall and then you have a structure. If you start taking one loving action towards yourself and commit to this, your level of Self Love can do nothing but improve.

And believe me, coming from someone who was completely devoid of Self Love (me) and then how I learnt to cultivate and live in this modality, has been a life changer! The strength, confidence and personal power that I have, improved my life in ways I could have only imagined.
