I saw this somewhere and it really stayed with me — “Someday” can quietly become “never.”

The next time that never comes.
The promises that never get fulfilled.
The plans that keep getting pushed to someday.

So maybe stop waiting.

If there’s something you want to do, do it.
If there’s somewhere you want to go, go.
Even if you have to do it alone.

Because we don’t want to look back one day and realise we spent too much time waiting for a “someday” that never came. by @evontmy

Another year older, another year of us somehow still putting up with each other HAHAHA. 😂

I’m just really grateful for you and for this friendship of ours. For all the random ridiculous conversations, the nonsense, the laughs, the little life updates and everything in between. It’s the kind of friendship where we can go from talking about something completely stupid to suddenly having a deep conversation and somehow it all makes sense. 😂❤️

I’ve always told people my rose + butterfly tattoos mean “beautiful things don’t last.” 🌹🦋

That was how I understood them when I first got them — a little bittersweet, almost like a reminder that everything beautiful is temporary.

But all these years later, it suddenly hit me that maybe there’s a much more beautiful way to look at them.

A rose blooms knowing it won’t bloom forever.
A butterfly has such a short life, but it still spends that time flying, transforming, being exactly what it was meant to be.

So maybe it was never really about beautiful things not lasting.

Maybe it’s about life being short, things being temporary, and still choosing to live beautifully for as long as we can.

And somehow, I think that meaning feels so much more like me now. ❤️ by @evontmy
