Phoenix alpha design for #mythicaljam2026 🐦‍🔥

I had a bunch of fun designing this bird! I tried to depict them as constantly emitting flames, and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out :)

Some more of their story (I didn't want to add too much text to the image itself):
After Blaze was reborn a Phoenix, they were granted the status of an alpha. Blaze is reserved, and tends to avoid other creatures who could be hurt by their flames. Because of this, many believe that Blaze is merely an old legend.

Though they live in seclusion, when there's an emergency, they'll be the first to arrive. They'll often assist creatures in cold climates. Whether by melting snow to free trapped animals in avalanches, or acting as a light to guide creatures out of snowstorms, Blaze will always appear in a time of need. by @evory0

And another last minute #AJDTIYS entry... Whoops 😅

I can't help myself from overcomplicating pieces. Could I have potentially finished this hours earlier had I not included two extra flamingos... yeah....
Oh well, I had fun :) by @evory0

Art con entry with less than an hour left 🎷🐛
Lots of stuff from my planning stages had to be cut due to my own procrastination - but I pulled through 👍

If it isn't evident in my progress pics, I struggled with the pose and background for a whileeeee. This was rough lol

Quick #AJDTIYS entry! Had fun with this, thought it would be fun to use a blow-dryer in place of the hairbrush :)

Sorry for the lack of art recently, I have a backup of stuff I need to post. I've been dealing with some insane art block/burnout, but I'm slowly trying to find the motivation to finish commissions. I promise I'm still here :) by @evory0

Another last minute art con entry... Thank you for the submission extension <3

There's definitely a lot I could have done better with this piece, but I think it came out alright. Working with this color pallet was very fun :) by @evory0

I'm so so sorry for putting this off for so long, but I finally finished the entry for #zensartcon

I adore the starry night painting, and getting to draw a character and scene directly inspired by it was so nice :)

Entering an art con after it ends is diabolical - thank you zen for allowing me to still submit this for the contest 😅 by @evory0

Entry for #alicyfoxartcon .... Definitely not submitting this with like an hour left haha.....

Anyways, this didn't come out as clean as I hoped, but I'm still decently happy with the results! It was nice to take a break from drawing assets and fully draw a scene again ^-^ by @evory0

Art dump for some various wonderful people!

Guess I should probably post sometimes lol.

I'm about done doing trial commissions, and while I wish I could actually open commissions at the moment... I have 3 art contests I want to enter, some gift art I'd like to make, and I need to update my character references for art fight....

Not overwhelmed at all haha. .

I'd say I'm fighting art block, but I am in fact losing 🫠 by @evory0

Some recent trial commissions for @/digitalhayden and @/puddlepuff!

I'm feeling slightly burnt out at the moment, but I'm hoping to post a few art contest entries again. I definitely need the background practice :')

Also if anyone knows what I should realistically price commissions like this at - it would be greatly appreciated! by @evory0
